This was such a wonderful place to stay - the rooms are clean and comfortable, it is close to transport links to all the major sights, and the staff are welcoming and offer great tips for travelers. The rooms have a real cosy and homely feel that we haven't experienced alot with hostels or other guesthouses. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Being a former pension house, it surely has a lot of character. Location was just a stop away from westbahnhof, and 10 min walk to the nearest metro. The beds were cozy, except on certain corners of the room the heater didn't seem to reach very well. Kitchen was well equip and bathroom was separated from toilette, which was great for us cos we had to share them with other guests. Staff were super friendly, even when we arrived at the dead of night. They also cleaned our room during the day.

no wifi, the bed sheet is very dirty. It's very cold at night. The hair dryer can not work. We had a very unpleasant stay.

the place wasn't clean every thing is stored below the beds (blankets and covers) to go to the shared bath you have to pass by a very cold corridor out of the appartment when we cam we couldn't get inside because door was locked and no reception... the reseption is a room in an appartment of the building... the rooms smell very bad.. beds covers an not good in comparison with what we paid.. we exepected better service like other hostels we visited before.

It's the perfect place if you only need a place to sleep in Wien. We spent most part of the days visiting, so didn't stay much at the hostel. It is a bit old school, but the lady is very nice and speaks very good English.

It is good for people who really doesn't care of the hotel and stay there only a few hours per day to sleep! the only good thing in this hotel is the cheapness! so if you are a group of students looking for the cheapest accommodation it is for you.. if you want anything more, search it somewhere else! the bathroom is IN the room in a wooden box... vienna is really expensive for the accommodation, so if you want a good hotel you have to pay more than 60 euro per day!

The hostel is good, but a location is quite far away from center of Vienna. Metro station is 3 min walk and the center is about 8 min by metro. If you go out for clubbing, consider taking a taxi. In general, it is not a hostel, its more guesthouse. The sheets and beds are clean, but the rooms and apartment in general is dusty, with bed smell. The best thing in this hostel is the lady owner. She is very helpful and nice, but for that price there is a lot of better options in town.

This was a great great great place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and secure. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Vienna for an extremely reasonable price.

I liked the location, city centre 45 mins of a nice walk (if not, 6 stations with the metro) 15mins to Schönbrunn, supermarket 3mins, metro 3mins. The owner is really nice and helpful and she speaks perfect english! we got a spacious room with our own kitchen and shower, even when we didn't order that...only the toilet was outside the room in the corridor. of course the conditions were parrarel to the price, but for everyone who wants to spend perfect time in vienna it's definitely enough!

The hostel was unclean with stained and squeaky floor. There were spider webs all over the place and it had a moldy smell. There were no sheets only some kind of matress covers and all the linen and towels were dirty and possibly used(stains and hairs)We had a private bathroom but it was literally in the wardrobe. The breakfast was not included although it was mention in the Hostelworld.com.The only good thing about the room was, that it is spaciousThe whole place needs to be renovated and cleaned

A lovely hostel with plenty of character, although it has a very 'old school' style. While the facilities like a lack of Wifi are obviously disappointing, the rooms are comfortable and close to 2 U-Bahn stations which makes travel across Vienna nice & easy.
