Just stayed here for one night, wish I could of stayed longer. Had a great chat with the owner about football and Mostar. Would recommend. A little bowl of sweets in the room was a nice touch and there was a good wifi connection.

The owner is so friendly and helpful. we are welcomed with chocolate and prune pancakes. Have nice chatting with the wife. Tell us about her experience of war. Room is clean. They let us use their kitchen. Free pick-up from bus station by car although is in walking distance. Walking distance to old town (5 min). Location is good. Supermarket, bank, post office in front of hostel. Everything is good. Recommend to stay there.

If you travel to Mostar, stay in this guesthouse. The owners are wonderful. Mesa was excited to show us his country and seemed thrilled that travelers want to be there. He drove us to a nearby town to check out the dervish monastery free of charge. Mesa and his wife love having guests and staying with them made Mostar a highlight in my trip through the Balkans.

I arrived in Mostar on my own early on New Year's Day. I was met by Mesa and his family - with coffee and cake - who are friendly, kind and extremely interesting hosts. The guesthouse is near the Old Bridge, rooms are clean and attractive and prices are low. Mesa - a former Bosnian footballer - was a child during the 1990s siege and talking to him added a fascinating dimension to my trip. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
