The staff is really nice but the place overall is unclean. The lockers didn't work properly.

VEry great atmosphere and staff, lovely decoration, and building. Bathroom and toilets clean but the showers in the female facilities should be separated be cause no one was using the two showers at the same time. And the kitchen does not look very clean. But anyway a very nice place to stay.

Kev was a brilliant host. I loved the Breakfast! One of the best hostels I've been to- could have done with a few more plug sockets but bar that- no complaints!

The Embassie Backpackers Hostel in Liverpool was great. The staff and guests were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. They know everything you need to know about Liverpool and are more than happy to point you in the right direction. Free coffee, tea, toast, jam, etc. is provided which gives the mornings a laid back and homey environment. It's in an older house, but the bathrooms have been updated and are clean. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Only advice would be to bring warm clothes

What's NOT to like about the Embassie? There are other hostels in Liverpool BUT, none come even a close second to this place for it's hospitality :) The BEST HOSTEL in LIVERPOOL bar-none!

Chilled, individual, quirky hostel with real heart. If you like character over sterile uniformity then this is the right hostel for you.

very nice family run hostel. owners attend to everyone of their guests. it's a bit far from the centre but the area's just lovely (victorian architecture) and quiet. and you can still walk. good breakfast with lots of options for a hostel. the only downside to me was that in england the quality of accommodation seems to be lower than in other countries.

Excellent atmosphere! We felt very welcome and at home and we were glad we picked this hostel.

The guided Beatles tour was great due to Kevin being a very committed guide. The hostel atmosphere was very friendly. At nights, it can be a little bit noisy in the room on the ground floor as you tend to hear the people coming and going.
