It's located in an old building which gives it character, the facilities are clean and modern, including the beds.

I like the general ambience and the friendly and helpful staff. Always able to make new friends here. Excellent value for money and within easy reach of the sights and sounds of Liverpool.

I was alone, and the hostel had very few guests, so I wasnt able to enjoy all of the facilities in the common room such as pool or just hanging out in front of the TV. The staff was very helpful to let me know where to go as a Beatles fan, so as not to waste any time on seeing other things I wasn't interested in. I had a 12 bedroom just for me, but I'm sure that if I had to share it, we would be very comfortable in it. Bathroom and Showers were great!

It is a little out of the way but I liked it. It's only about a 15 minute walk to the centre. The staff was friendly and everything was super clean. I was very comfortable

One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Rooms are big and clean and facilities are goo. All of the staff are friendly and very helpful, and the free beatles tour by Kevin Sr was really enjoyable. Definitely recommend this place

Beatles night was the best! Free entry to the Cavern Club! Also, the shower had the best water pressure ever.

Two things are good about this hostel: the staff and the price. Apart from that, it's pretty below average. Not enough toilets and the showers are really cramped together, plus they are on the basement so if you have a room upstairs you are in trouble. Lockers are available but not enough for everyone. I recommend this place if you are on a budget or going to Liverpool during low season and for only a couple days, like I did. I cannot imagine this place when it's full.

House a bit old but full of character. I got a very warm welcoming and a good introduction to Liverpool when I arrived. The free Beatles tour was just great and ended up with a free entry to the cavern club. 24 hours toast and tea/coffee. Facilities and cleanliness OK. Would definitively recommend it and I'll go back there if I return to Liverpool.

Although not perfect location, only a 20 min walk to the centre . The hostel has a very homy feel to it which is really nice, its clean and the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. The Beatles tour run by Kevin is definitely worth it! Kevin is such a nice guy and has a lot of interesting information. Its also pretty quiet so you can get a good sleep.

Embassie was an awesome hostel for the price and the staff are awesome. If you're staying there on a Thursday night, Kevin Senior does a Beatles Tour throughout Liverpool. This guy has been living there for many years and has many inside Beatles stories from before they were famous so it was great to get some inside info for someone who knows so much about the band and area. Definitely recommend this hostel; great price and great location.

A great place in terms of character but certainly beyond its best days – and, finally, it is not nice to be eaten by bugs in your bed at night.

The hostel has a great breakfast, what helps a lot during a walk day. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The only weak point is that there's no heat and you can't close the windows of the bathroom (at least in the shared bathroom). Time spent in Liverpool and the hostel was great though.

I have to say, this was probably my favorite Hostel I stayed in on my entire trip. Firstly, both Kevin Jr. and Sr. were great, friendly, and welcoming hosts. They really make you feel like you are staying in someone's home, not just another nameless backpackers lodging. The hostel itself is in an old Georgian House. I've noticed a number of complaints on here saying that it was run down. I can assure you this is not the case. It is a charming old house with character. I loved this place.

We loved this hostel - best I have stayed in. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome. As it was NYE the hostel put on cheese and wine for guests which was a lovely touch. The rooms were lovely and had proper quilts as oppose to the standard scratchy sheets which was lovely. Fantastic hostel and will stay there every time we visit Liverpool in the future. Thanks for having us! Danni and Lisa from Leeds

Quite a nice place overall, just one issue. There was a strange down and out who used to live there unofficially. He was a bit of a pain. Other than that, it was a great place.

I really loved staying at the Embassie due to its relaxed, open environment in which people could have fun while meeting new people. It was easy to get along with the staff and they were very hospitable in providing cookies and tea and other sources of entertainment.

The location is not as great as other Liverpool hostels (still only a 10 minute walk from the centre of town), but an awesome place to stay nonetheless. The most friendly and helpful staff I've ever experienced at a hostel!! Great place to stay for football fans
