Welcome to the Embassy Hotel
Historical sources claim that in 1932 the land plot with a two-storey residential house and an adjacent office was owned by Mr. Ilja Baltev, who has inherited the property of his grandfather, a former trustee of the tsar Nikolai II. The block, quiet yet adjacent to the city centre, has always been a convenient place for villas of high officers, and later for establishment of diplomatic embassies. That had an influence on the name of the hotel Embassy Hotel which is surrounded by nine embassies.
Historical elements have been retained in the entire building of the Embassy Hotel Balatonas, which is located close to the city centre. At the time of recently carried out reconstruction, spaces of the buildings have been expanded, façades have been formed anew, and the architectural history has been supplemented with modern classics that contains retrospective elements.
