If you have the room booked via Hostelworld, itīs cheaper. But when we returned a week later and had no reservation, the lady at the front desk with poor English treied to rip us off and asked for $260. Of course we refused it and she didnīt know why:-(If you have the room booked via Hostelworld, itīs cheaper. The staff spoke very little English which led to frequent misunderstandings.
There is no air conditioning in this hotel and there is only one electric fan for the whole hotel. I stayed there for 8 nights and only got a fan on my last night. On the other nights I opened the windows and got bitten all over by mosquitos. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff spoke very little English which led to frequent misunderstandings.

There were construction works going on, the room was a bit smelly and the room interior was time-worn and not very pleasing.
The only good thing I remember is the cheap price and the rather central location in Beirut-Hamra.There were construction works going on, the room was a bit smelly and the room interior was time-worn and not very pleasing.
