The two main concerns I have about the hotel: - the overall poor state of the building itself, from the aged furniture, unkempt light switches to the creaking hallways and floorboards, and especially the place where the humble breakfast was served, plus - the area where it is located. While the location seemed favourable with Market Street at walking distance, that walk did not feel safe at all for a foreigner. Staff was helpful and the place was clean apart from the overall worn state.

we are not particularly impressed with this hotel, after that had a flight of about 28 hours. we arrive at 21.30pm for an extra stopover in canada and delays in new york do not want to hear that we have no room for you today we had rented for 3 nights so they should understand that we were coming. they swung another hotel (super8) and it was not in the best neighborhood they are. so we had to go there because there was no parking there and it was not a pleasant sight they saw of san francisco.

Good location. Room a bit dirty and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Hotel in general in need of some renovation.

Pretty barebones as far as a hotel goes, but it gets the job done and is in a convenient location. The area is shady but around the hotel it seemed safe. The one annoyance I had is the lack of power outlets in my room.

The area was... FREAKY ! According to people leaving in SF, this place is the less secure in town and should be avoided... Of course, nothing was indicated when we booked the hotel ... Anyway, the place was not that frightening :) We even went to see a Gospel near the hotel. Be informed ;

The hotel staff were very helpful. The area is a bit sketchy. Personally my group didn't have any trouble but i wouldn't like to be walking about on your own at night time. However, there was a problem with the booking. Hostle world had told me that the hotel had room capable of taking 6 people. this is incorrect. The largest room in the hotel contain 2 double beds. hostle world need to update there records.

We booked a 4bed room...which is actually not available at the embassy. Luckily they got another 2bed room vacant...but they wanted to charge us double the price displayed on our reservation. So please make sure the rooms you offer are available! Thanks a lot!
