The staff is helpful. Free wifi service. A little bit far away from train station but still acceptable. Water from shower not strong and hot enough

Close to the train station and very friendly and helpful staff. I was expecting a little more character from the price we paid, but overall it was a good hostel.

Booked 2 beds in a 3-bed dorm, but were given a spacious & very nice double ensuite in a different, brand-new place right in front of Basilica di San Lorenzo: absolutely the best 'value for money' room you can get! There's an oven & microwave but no cooking facilities. Breakfast was a coffee/tea & 2 toast with jam & chocolate-spread. Strictly speaking, there is no free parking at the hostel: street parking in this zone is "residents only", but there are "blue zones" not too far. Helpful staff.

3 friends & I stayed in the Double Bed Private shared bathroom rooms. The location was great as it was very close to shops, restaurants, & sightseeing. It was close to the train station and in a safe area. I felt comfortable walking at night. The staff was very attentive & friendly. The rooms were large & beds were comfortable. The rooms got a little cold at night (we were there a few days after Christmas). There is a nice balcony, free internet, and a modest breakfast. I would stay again.

This was the most enjoyable hostel I have ever stayed at and I have been in a lot of them! The staff was fantastic and it was in a beautiful old building. Venice was enjoyable for me because of this hostel. This is the best value and best experience hostel you will find anywhere in Venice.

It was a good Hostel. What i didn't like is how they treated their guests. I mean we came there to have fun and the place is all gloomy gloomy. Staff make it even worse with all the tight rules and other stuff. Like you can't stay in hostel for more then 10 minutes after check out. that was strange. Over all it's a clean and nice place and at a good location.

Small but very nice hostel, the reception is a very nice lady who tell everything you need to know. Breakfast is free and you can use whathever they have in the kitchen. Location are great, so close to the Santa Maria Novella Station, and the price is also okay, totally worth it.

The only good think about Emerald Fields hostel is the location and the rest is not so. And there is a constant sewer smell in the hostel and the next door bar play loud music all night long till 3:30AM and the other think they don't tell you there is on stove in the kitchen to cook you find out after you buy your grocery and you start cooking.

Great location. Some of the staff very helpful. The room I stayed in had heaps of space which was great and also a sink in the bedroom. They had lockers for your gear in the room, my bag didnt fit but it was still great having one to store things. The bathrooms were big, sometimes the shower water in the morning was a bit cold but overall its been good. Extended stay from two to four nights.

Staff were really helpful. In a great location 3 blocks from main train station and a 5 min walk from the duomo and David. Only thing that was bad was the pungent moldy toilety smell in the hallways

Bathrooms are not ensuite very nice. The morning recep. does not speak a lick of English- she marked the hostel incorrectly on the map. Room is nice- clean. Security is good. Multiple bathrooms on the floor. Afternoon/evening staff -guy- great, friendly and great food reccomendations. Laundry mat is right down the street. Almost five EUROS to do one load. No chill area. Two lap top computers for your use. Decent internet connection in the lobby- not in the rooms. Good location!!!
