Great location! Close to station, restaurants, shopping and laundry. Rooms varied, some are better than others. I got one of the not so good rooms, but it was still ok. Bunk beds were really squeeky though, if you're a light sleeper you have been warned :) Place is clean and spotless! The lady (we called her Mama) makes you coffee and toast in the morning and is overall the best part of this place! The lockout between 11am-2pm is kinda annoying, but everyone is out by then anyways.

Lovely cheap and sociable hostel. Very clean shared bathrooms. Lock out time for dorms is a bit annoying. Nice to have an outside common area to eat / chill. Location is ok, in the back streets but fine because florence is so small easy to walk everywhere still. Would recommend and stay again!

Ok hostel, great location. The wifi signal was not very good in my room, otherwise everything was ok.

Once you fine the hostel, it wasn't very obvious from the street, the hostel was lovely. It was really clean and comfortable. The location is great. The staff were helpfull, the lovely Italian mama who was there to serve breakfast in the morning was beyond amazing she treated us all like her own children giving us kisses as we said goodbye. :)

The location is brilliant - very close to the station and main sites. Free breakfast was: toast, biscotti, coffee; the lady who made it was lovely - she wouldn't let you lift a finger to help and had learnt my name. The map is also really good as the main sites are enlarged. Bathrooms were good and didn't really have to wait for one. WiFi is patchy and doesn't reach some rooms but was bearable. Not all rooms have aircon but they have fans which I thought was fine.

Great location near SMN station and the duomo, however not many signs outside the hostel so look carefully as you walk down the road. The place is clean and the rooms are nice. lockers are included as well. staff are lovely, especially the woman who made us breakfast who was great! really enjoyed the stay.

The lady who made us breakfast and coffee in the morning was lovely, but the young boy who checked us in was not friendly, welcoming or helpful. Very clean rooms with everything you need and great air con.

The only thing that made my stay here bearable was the other nice guests. The staff are terrible, rude and are very reluctant to help you in any way. The room I stayed in was right next to an extremely loud street all night long. The only room that was and also the only room that had no aircon in the hottest section of the building. All the other rooms had aircon and were already cool because of their position inside the complex and not noisy. Only stay here for the location. Terrible hostel.

Lucky to be upgraded from dorm to a private room for no charge. Shared bathrooms clean. Breakfast of toast and tea adequate. Lovely and helpful staff. AC was average especially during the heatwave we had last week at 35-40degree days! Really good location nearby the Santa Maria Novella station, a a short walk to Central Markets and Duomo. Highly recommend climbing the Duomo and going up to Piazzale Michelangelo for great views over Florence! Would stay here again. :)

Location is good, bathroom is very clean, and a lady there makes good breakfast, people even don't need to stand up to get their coffee, but there's NO AIR CON in the dorm I stayed, just a small ventilator for 5 people

A group of us were hanging out in the courtyard where the first night the staff actually joined us and the second night, different staff, told us we couldn't have more than 4 drinks and had to leave by 11pm. This was a little strange. I also didn't like that I had to pay for luggage storage. Check-in was very quick and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean and tidy.

Clean rooms and showers, not the most comfortable best i have slept in though

The only bad point is that they have no air con on the room, so it was like beeing in an oven, even though there was a ventilador, but certainly not enough for the italy summer. Beside that, excellent value for money.

It was my first time visitng Florence! the location was superb, 5 minite walk from the Duomo! our room looked brand new! Clean and very spacious. The air conditioning was great. The kitchen was convenient. Would definetly recommend staying here, its perfect if you want a central located, clean cheap stay. would definatley stay here again if i was to return to florence.

We were upgraded to a private room which was really nice. Really great location, took five to ten mins to walk into the centre. Not sure how good it would be for a lone traveller just because it wasn't massively busy but maybe that was just the weekend we were there. Overall nice hostel.

When we arrived we got upgraded to a private room which was nice. However - it is true, they make you leave the property between 11-2 for mopping. And once you leave you cannot Come back until after 2, Which can get annoying if you get in really late and have to get up and leave by 11 which is what we had to do. The wifi works ok, and aircon ok too. No real atmosphere here, but a quiet place to stay.

The place is very average. You might as well stay in a hotel. It's super expensive, and you need to pay for everything. They charged us for towels and to mind our bags for 6 hours. It is really small and has no atmosphere. The staff weren't overly useful either, but were polite. We asked were we should go at night, and their response was don't bother Florence has a bad night life. Which is wrong. Our room also stank like a dull musk. Keep in mind for two people were we're paying 77 euro/night

Handy location, very clean and staff were friendly. 5 mins walk from the main train station, 5 mins walk to the centre of Florence and only 2 mins walk to the leather markets.

1-2 extra bathrooms would be good, because sometimes there was a line. The beds seemed nice at first sight, but where really squeaky, i heard everytime the person in the bunk above me moved. There were also handy small reading lights for each bed - but nowhere to plug them in, as the rooms only two outlets were used for charging peoples phones and cameras. The common area is pretty nice, but nobody was hanging out there except at breakfast, so it was not so sociable.

Good location. We stayed in our own double room which was nice and the bathroom facilities were good. But they need to update their payments because you can only pay with cash not card
