The rooms were freezing! Other than that everything was fine!

The hostel was hard to find since our party forget the building number. There is no street sign to catch your attention excpet for a small 4x4 in square and a label on the ringbox. The staff was very eager to help my friend and I with bus schedules for day trips and how to navigate around the city. Their English speaking skills are great!

Excellent hostel, good staff, good location. The only bad thing is you can't expect to cook something too elaborate, the kitchen is not very equipped.

It was a very nice place, very close to the train station and close to the city atractions. The only thing that is missing in this hostel to be perfect is some pans and pots to cook...

The staff and the location of this hostel were the best things about it. It is walking distance from everything, and very close to the city centre and the central train station. The kitchen wasn't that great - there was no stove, it was just a microwave and an oven. The bathrooms were fine, and the bed felt fairly clean. Also the heating was really good - there was central heating and a blow-heater in our room which we could control. Overall, pretty good value for money: I'd stay there again :)

I loved this hostel! There was always someone around to help, WiFi always worked, and everything was extraordinary clean. Breakfast consisted of toast, coffee or tea, and cookies. My only complaint was of how cold the hostel got. I understand that it is winter time but I usually ended up stealing an empty bed's blankets. Still loved it tho!

Nice place. Really well located, near Firenze train's station. Daniello is a really cool guy. There's a kitchen with a microwave...That's a plus!

This hostel was my favorite of the trip by far. We instantly made great friends, it's possible to use the kitchen for meals and the wifi service was nearly perfect. There are also computers available for use. It's atmosphere is one of friendliness and warmth, and the owner will even learn your name. Also a great value.

BEWARE, STAFF IS RACIST AND WILL TREAT YOU DISRESPECTFULLY (not the lady in the morning). When I was leaving, the staff working there was going on a diatribe of how many filthy Koreans were staying at the hostel. I have never felt so unwelcome to a city than at this place. As people who interface mostly with foreigners, I expected them to act like ambassadors for their country. Clearly not the case with Emerald Fields. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A LASTING GOOD IMPRESSION OF FLORENCE.

The front desk lady was so kind to provide us a single room (two bed) though we booked in a 4 bed mix dorm.

It would be better if there are more facilities in the kitchen, like cooking stove.

The hostel was really nice. There was some problems with one of the heatings on the 1st floor, but the recepcionist promptly found a solution for everybody who was there. The breakfast was ok. The location is good as well, just a few minutes walking from the main highlights.

Staff were really helpful and kind, they made my stay brilliant. Location fantastic for both the train station and town centre. Very nice, casual atmosphere. Only concern was no locks on individual rooms.

Stayed there for one night. Acoustic because of bad doors is a big minus. I took part at the marathon. So i asked one of the staff if i could take a shower afterwards, before i get my luggage from the lugagge room. No chance! Staying one nigth longer would not have changed anything: between 11am and 2 pm the hostel is closed, so you are not allowed to go in (also no shower)....
