It was very nice to stay in the centre of Budapest where everything is so close so you can walk to it. I wasn`t happy with cleanliness, first because my linens had stains when I arrived, and second because the bathroom was dirty almost every time I walked in. That`s what I personally appreciate the most in the hostel. Also, there is no a common room that is listed in facilities and I guess that doesn`t make the atmosphere good. Anyway I found some new friends and I had fun.

We spent 2 nights. The first one they told us that the room which we had booked wasn't available in that moment, so they gave us another room out of the hostel. This room was very old, dirty with a bad mattress, and the smell in the broken toilet was disgusting. The 2nd night we didn't have the double room that we had booked neither. They gave us a room with bunk beds and 2 sofas. As we were a couple we had to sleep in the uncomfortable sofa. The only good thing was the girl on the reception.

The location is very good and the staff is friendly. The toilets are reasonably clean and bed linens are provided. Breakfast is ok, not included but cheap enough at 300HUF (~1 Euro). On the minus side, the hostel is very small, the reception is in a cramped corridor and the only other common space is a tiny, claustrophobic kitchen. It is a bit hard to find, make sure they know at what time you'll arrive and they'll wait at the reception. It is quite noisy, the beds are not so confortable.

Overall a positive experience. It's not a place to go to meet other people, as it's small and there are no common areas other than in the rooms themselves and a tiny kitchen (which was well-equipped and great for cooking). The WiFi was fast and free, linens, towels, and a very simple breakfast were all provided. There are strict quiet hours starting at 10pm. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice, big, and clean, though the bunkbeds had much to be desired. Great location and friendly staff!

It's good place to stay and friendly staff. The most important thing I liked in this hostel was lacation. It was close to every spot of tourist attractions and in the city center so really easy to go and enjoy city at night. The price was reasonable.

Excellent location - close to main sights. Hostel is situated in historical apartment building - so you can fit in historical Budapest aristocratic athmosphere. Friendly staff. Everything is perfect!

A hostel that gives you good value for the money. Travelling in the low season meant that my girlfriend and I had almost the entire hostel to ourselves, which was a bit like having our own apartment. I'm a bit curious on how it is in the high season, as the kitchen isn't big and there doesn't seem to be any common rooms - but I wouldn't know.

A good value place to stay with excellent location but really needs a good scrubbing especially the room floors and under the beds...
