I really like this place, really clean. Big rooms, the staff was helpfull and friendly , not long distance from city centre , and free coffe and toast in morning

Simply incredible. Considering the hotel prices in Florence we weren\'t expecting anything exceptionnal. We were so wrong! The room was huge, beautifully decorated, the bed confortable, a stunning view on one of Florence\'s main church, the kitchen had everything we needed and the supermarkets were close by. It is a hostel, not a hotel, so don\'t forget to bring your towels. The area can be noisy at night, but with earplugs, it is definitely the best deal.

Went to Emerald Palace, Via Ariento 2 at 6PM and was refused entry by Antonio. Pushed the intercom button on the street designated Emerald Palace and Antonio answered. I told him I had a reservation for that night at Emerald Palace. He asked if I were Spanish. I told him no. I was an American. He said no and disconnected the intercom. I buzzed back repeatedly and he never answered again. I was without a place to stay, standing on the street and it would be dark soon. Terrible service,
