The B&B was beautiful, and the staff were helpful and friendly, however the location was not great. It was located outside of the city walls, which would have been ok if the roads were more walking friendly.

Emma BnB was nice Jessica the host picked us up from the train station and dropped us off. The room was nice and bed comfortable. It's about 10 minute walk to town.

Overall the stay was ok. We had a room at the front of the house near the noisy road. On the description we read that airconditioning was present, but it wasn't. Rooms have thin walls, not the greatest for light sleepers

Very nice B&B with a very kind and helpful owner!

I liked the limited number of rooms that makes you feel more like at home. Jessica and her husband made their very best to help me out including driving me from and back to the station. Both room and bed are very comfortable. Walking to the Old Town (15 min) is not to recommend considering your safety (heavy traffic and partly no walking paths) but buss nr 15 takes you there every 20 minute. Old Town itself is a real pearl!

Very nice place and helpful staff, they have the cutest baby ever!!! ♥ The place was a bit far from the center but it was really good that there was a supermegamarket near to the B&B

Very friendly. Off-road car parking. Rather busy traffic in street.

I wish I was able to stay more than one night. Jessica was really sweet and accommodating (she even picks you up) It was easy to get to with a car. You can get home cooked meals at a small price, do it! We had breakfast but did not get dinner the night before. What a mistake, it smelled so delicious! If you are looking for a safe, comfortable place to stay, this is it.

Emma B and B is a budget B and B, set about 20 minutes walk from the old city. It is clean and Jessica, Alex and their baby Jasmine are incredibly hospitable and helpful. I would recommend this as a low priced accomdation to base yourself to visit lovely Lucca.

The location is a long walk from the old city, however the hostess will pick you up and dropped us at the bus station for our trip to Pisa. Got a huge room, but it was stuffy and hard to get fresh air. Very nice people though.

Actually we couldn't stay at the hostel due to renovation not finished in time. But they offered an alternative even transferring the amount of difference in price without any difficulty. So I suppose they really care about their guests and surely would book Emma B&B for the next stay

Emma B&B was a very cute place not a far outside the walls of Lucca. The room my friend and I stayed in was clean and comfortable. Jessica was very accommodating with our last minute reservation and had our room ready for us in no time. She even dropped my friend and I off at the train station when we were running late. Overall the experience was lovely!

Było w porządku - trochę daleko od Centrum, ale w pogodę na pewno to nie problem. Jak kiedyś w tym rejonie będziemy chętnie znów skorzystamy.

cute rooms. for people who are sensitive to traffic noise, its located along a main road.... didnt feel very comfortable overall in the house in that its not clear whether the living/ cooking area is for the staff only or part of the guesthouse shared zone... was a bit weird.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Sorry for that "sensation".....actually as the typical original bed & breakfast structure-where the host/owner lives -some rooms are common shared, or better there is a kitchen-dining room which is clearly the large room where breakfast is served and next there is a living room/common room with TV where guests are welcome if they want to sit, watch Tv or read. As the host lives there, she is almost always availabable at the place and this could be seen as an advantage ,being appreciated by many guests and for that you can find owner dining there.Hope this can be of any help and not to create any disturb, but an added value. Anyway this month we are doing some works to separate the two areas and place SPECIAL ANTI-NOISE GLASSES TO THE WINDOWS to improve comfortness.

A bit far from the centre if you have massive bags/suitcases. Going there with a car is best but their pick up service was good. Very nice surroundings and staff. The hostel was very clean.

the city centre is reachable within 5 minutes on foot, that is quite good! They have also a free parking area and this is not bad considering the traffic,so you can leave your car there instead of paying a parking ticket. The people were nice, my room was comfortable and breakfast and dinner service were ok! reasonable price
