The showers were terrible, the doors didn't close and everyhing was very dirty.

Everything was good or really good except the showers / men toilets. Shower water was constantly changing between cold and warm (either when taking a shower in the morning or at night although was a bit better at night), and out of the 3 men toilets, only 1 had a very rudimentary "lock" in it.

I found the staff to be very pleasant and friendly, both Katya and Simon worked hard and were very efficient. I took some business cards and will certainly recommend it to friends and will return. Thanks very much. I had the best holiday ever, even though the weather was not so good in Prague.

I felt like I was staying in a dungeon. The common room/kitchen was always dirty and the showers made me want to, well, not shower. The front desk was helpful a few times with finding places in the city, but multiple time I came back to the hostel i the pouring rain to find the front door locked and an "I'll be back in 5" sign taped up. Frustrating. But, its cheap, so what can ya do.

Had a good stay here, no real complaints minus the fact that the reception person leaves sometimes and locks you in the hostel so you can't get out. Didn't have to wait more than 3min for them to return but it's defiantly a fire hazard. Really all it takes is a door that automatically locks behind you. The one shower downstairs wasn't a problem and I never had to wait for it but if it's more busy maybe. Never cooked but the kitchen is large and fully equipped, good common room too, would return

Nice big hostel close to the city center with good value for money balance. There was a big kitchen witch you could use for cooking or storing things. Big lockers that can contain your whole stuff. Besides that nothing else you can do there, just sleep. With a little bit of work and will this place can be much more than it allows itself to be...

Except for the helpful guy in the reception staff was pretty grumpy and not really service-minded. Bathrooms were broken, but guess that happens unplanned - still the "backup" bathroom was not any better, lights didn't work, had to use the men's bathroom, only one shower etc. Had to pay 50CZK for sketchy towels, not even as a deposit. Dorms we're fine, though. All in all it we experienced the hostel as rather filthy and cheap, which was a pity as both the locations and bedrooms were okay.

Slightly noisy at night, but apart from that a nice place. Didn't realise how close it really was to the city center, so don't bother buying a underground ticket- it's easily walkable!!

Very poor - hostel room broken into and my friend's iPhone was stolen whilst we slept due to terrible security measures taken by the hostel, we were lucky it wasn't worse!

Overall all we had a really good experience. Free Wifi, free computers, access to kitchen. Man working at the desk gave us a good recommendation and located right near the river with a short work from the main square. I would use this hostel again.

Showers could be more clean. The drains were filled with hair. Very noisy.

Great value hostel. Staff were all friendly and helpful, the place was very clean, and there is a kitchen and living space. Natural light in the rooms. I stayed in the private rooms area, in a separate building near to the dorms; from what I saw the dorms were also good. Location is good enough - you can walk to anything most tourists will go to, but if you are feeling lazy the metro is nearby, quick, easy and cheap. Powerboards in the rooms would be convenient since powerpoints are few.

We booked for a 3 beds private room. It was a really good Hostel really worth for the money! You can ask to hostel a pick up from/to the airport (500 czk one way, 900 both way for 1 car). We didn't have any problems at all during our stay. The location is pretty good between the old town (15 min walk) and the new town (the same). You can find many pubs in this area and especially the Absinth bar. The only little problem was the smell in our floor (not in our room) beca&use of the canalisation.

First of all, the room wasn't cleaned at all and the sheets were dirty. We told the receptionist about the situation in the room, but he just gave us sheets for the pillows. The bed itself was simply disgusting. Honestly I assume that the bed was from the garbage - springs weren't used in beds for the last 20 years and the "colour" was disgusting. The heating couldn't be adjusted - either cold or too hot. This was definitely the worst place I have ever been to.

Been traveling for a while now and in many hostels. This was lower on my list. Good value for money I guess but it was pretty dirty in the kitchen area, the shower door for men didnt stay shut which sucks. The staff wasnt engaging at all and one guy yelled someone in my room for sleeping past check out in front of the whole room. If looking to stay here check for another similarly priced hostel first. If you are a first time traveler dont go here, you will get a bad impression of hostels.
