Great location, but not much more. The internet was invisible to our computer. Downstairs in the building there was a construction so the mornings were rather not silent, although one staff member was reassuring us that we wouldn't hear a sound. And no dish washing liquid in the kitchen, so a bit hard to wash the dishes after use. Better place for the summer, when you don't have stay there for long cause you only need a place to sleep and take a shower.

The hostel seemed not to be terminated, but the room and facilities were OK.

Our stay was slightly disastrous. The staff were INCREDIBLY rude, our room was fine but the heaters were turned on to full blast with nothing we could do we were sleeping every night with our windows open (in mid January) but our bed rested against the heater because the headboard was broken and the bed would have collapsed if we hadn't. The other members staying at the hostel were slightly rude to us. Shower heads weren't attached to the wall so to shower one had to hold the faucet above head.

If you're looking for basic and cheap accommodation than this place is ideal. The hostel is in two old buildings &we were on the 2nd floor of the 2nd building and there were 2 doors to unlock & lock behind you before you even got to your room. Great location, it is in the old town of Prague and an easy walk to the old town square. THe staff are lovely and helpful with any questions you may have. THe heating in our room was way to high but couldn't be changed. It was very clean and had a kitchen.

First of all, the hostel is in a very old building. Key for the building door doesn't work properly. You have to go 3 flights of inexplicably long stairs (and with a suitcase that is hell!!) without an elevator. Hostel is good value for money if you go on a trip to Prague in HIGH season. if you go just on a regular day or weekend, try your luck somewhere else.

Too noisy at night and the shower heads need to be fixed.

The Only good part about this hostel was its location, there was easy access to Public transport taking you downtown. otherwise the Accomodation had no character or atmosphere, it was just an uncomfortable and smelly bed to sleep at night. But that was even not possible as the Hostel was very Noisy. "10 euros is Cheap, but even for that money I would expect at least the very basic comfort that was missing". I was very un happy with it.

Overall this hostel came off as being somewhat dirty. The walls had markings everywhere, the room smelled of cigs, the basement where the kitchen is smelled of mold. They had free computers to use but the internet only worked for about 30 seconds at a time. We only spent about 7 USD a night, so I guess you get what you pay for.

The hotel is nice, clean and big but we had to sleep our first night in a dorm with a whole family (parents in their 40s, and two teenage children) which was pretty unconfortable. The staff varied, some people were very nice, while others were pretty unfriendly and not helpful at all. They offered a pickup service from the airport that was very helpful. We had bad luck because in our room the curtains were broken and, being the bed next to the street it was uncomfortable.

A pretty good place to stay. Great location near the old downtown and near the starting point for the infamous Prague Pub Crawl. Rooms were nice and clean. Kitchen was alright, a little under ventilated being down in the basement, but on the plus side it was a great place to have some drinking games and prepare for the night out. I managed to meet some really cool ppl here which led to some great times.... If thats what you're after you should find it here.

Emma Hostel's private rooms are located in flats in a neo-classical building in the town center. Small rooms - ours on the 3rd floor without an elevator. A litte bit dark, brown wood, dimmed light, not so clean and too hot radiators. But good beds, fully equipped kitchen, free coffee, new bathroom with constantly hot water. Free Internet in the other building with the dorms (in a smelly common room in the basement). Safe, cheap and really good located next to Charles Place and Vltava.
