I stayed here for two nights, and pretty much everything was satisfactory. I can't really complain considering how little it cost, but my only gripe would be the common room. It's small, and the staff members made a habit of taking it over with their local friends, so there wasn't really anywhere to relax besides the bedroom. Mildly annoying. That aside, it was fine. I'm sure there are better hostels, also many worse ones. 8/10

Good location, just 30 seconds from bus station. The rooms were quite cheap at 15 TL. The hostel is well run by Ali who even cooked a dinner for the travellers and offered us free! Ali's relatives own one of the baloon companies in Goreme, so look for additional discounts :) Overall a good stay!

Emre's Cave House is located a couple of blocks from the train station, just up the hill from all the restaurants and tourist shops in town. It's an awesome location. We went during the end of November, when the weather was starting to get cold. There isn't any central heating, but the rooms do have large space heaters on the wall. That said, we did wish the rooms had gotten a little bit warmer. All in all it was a nice stay.

The hostel and the owners of the house were great. They gave us a personal tour and when we ran out of time took us out the next night free of charge to see the sunset. Great place to stay!!

This is for my night in a single room. Room was quite cold, but generally clean and spacious. Reasonable price. One note about the shuttles from the airports to Goreme (unrelated to this hostel) - my shuttle did not show up, leaving me with a large taxi bill to Goreme (approx. 110 TKL from Nevsehir Airport). I recommend finding a reliable private shuttle or booking a shuttle through the hostel.

Nice hostel. Dorm isn't really much of a cave. Price is excellent value for money. Most importantly these guys offer excellent tours at about 5-8 lira less than the average going rate in goreme. Tours are excellent and highly recommended. Many thanks Ali!.Hostel and bathrooms are quite clean and good heating. Internet is free but just 1 terminal.

This is for my night in the dorm room. Nice small hostel. Staff are generally helpful. Definitely try out the breakfast - the menemen is spectacular. As mentioned in other reviews, the owner does push the tours a bit but I didn't find it too excessive. The washrooms are very cramped and could be a bit cleaner. No lockers were available for storing luggage in the dorm rooms. Other guests were friendly. Would stay again - especially considering the low price.

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights in October. We were pleased with the location, tour and prices (although I know they raised their breakfast and tour prices after we left). The breakfasts were great, the free tea was nice. I was disappointed with the kitchen situation. We cook a lot of our meals on our own (Goreme restaurants are over-priced and mediocre) and we found the kitchen to be dark, cramped and full of dirty dishes waiting to be washed. No heat in room=very cold Oct nights.

Great value! The tour run by the hostel is simply marvelous, the best tour we have done in Turkey. Thanks to the staff for a fabulous stay.

Amazing breakfast. Comfy beds that reminded me of staying at my Grandma's house.

I hate to leave bad comments because I know that the person runnıng the busıness depends on the hostel. Wıth that saıd hopefully they read this and then make some changes and then they will be more successful. I found this place to leave MUCH to be desired. I was disgusted when I walked into the kitchen (where they cook breakfast) to see old dirty dishes everywhere. Lots of flies. Not a single door locks, some dude sleeps on the couch as security. Stay here if you are saving every dime you have.

Nice place to stay, very central location even though the town is not big. They run their own under ground city tours which is very good and has no other tourist's except our small group.

If you are in a dormitory you'll have to wait a while for the shower/ toilet in the morning as there are only two of each and not separated. The location is great, the breakfasts are only 5tl and really good.
