There was no electricity! I was cold the entire time I was in my room and freezed at night, so thank you! The guy at the fronst (the one from northern california) was very nice though, so I guess his good customer service makes up for it, but overall very poor hostal!

I loved staying at Urban House! The location was great, the beds were nice and the people were so nice. We got amazing recommendations for places for pintxos and ended up returning to the place both nights. The staff was really great, we got to hang out with them and other people staying at the hostel and we had a great time! I definitely recommend this hostel, it's the cheapest and the best!

I was at the hostel 21st through 24th December and the cleaning lady thought we were only staying until the 23rd. So, as we were sight-seeing that day, she took my things to the reception and in the process I couldn't find my towel nor my ipod. Since we were leaving the following day, we gave our email and were told they would contact us if they found anything. We have yet to receive anything, the staff was frankly mean, and I no longer have an ipod. I enjoyed my stay, but not the hostel.

great location, good facilities, clean, but it's a bit expensive for what it is and cosidering the fact that it's Spain, the breakfast is quite poor and there is not enough hot water for all the people in the morning. the rooms have no courtains of any kind so we have beek awoken by the light in the morning.

The hostel is not the one shown in the pictures, and some people in staff couldn't speak any word in Spanish...!! One night I felt sick at 11pm and I wasn't allowed to use the kitchen to prepare a camomille tea because it was closed, so I had to wait to feel better in a cold corridor, because there is not heat in the hostel. My bedroom didn't have any window either. some guests were not very clean in the kitchen The only good thing is the location and Sabrina the friendly girl staff.

Clean place, friendly staff, great breakfast option. Location is great but the directions on the website were a little hard to follow so I had trouble getting there from my bus stop.

Great location in the city - easy walking distance to good restaurants and bars, as well as the beach. Easy bus ride from the bus station. Location given on the reservation email is incorrect, so make sure you have the correct one before you arrive in town. Spacious rooms, several bathrooms.

It was a great place, and the staff was very helpful especially with recommendations. The only bad thing was the springs in the bed were super pokey, and the walls a bit thin when your neighbors are super drunk. But the location, kitchen and people were wonderful!

I booked here for one night and ended up staying for 5, and coming back twice in the next month. The staff is very friendly, helpful with recommendations and fun. The location couldn´t be better, it´s about 200 meters from the beach in one direction, and the same distance from the Old Town which is packed with pintxo bars, shops, and discotecas. There is free breakfast every morning, as well as free wi-fi throughout the building, and a room with a bunch of computers that can used for free.

In general it's a good hostel, in a perfect location and has a lot of potential. However, with posibly one exception the staff are completely unprofessional and it seems they don't care much about how to make things work over there. Several of them don't even speak spanish and when they greet you in the morning seem to have a hangover. Also, they seem to think that playing very loud music during the day is fun, but doesn´t even allow you to talk to other travelers.

They are putting in lockers in all rooms at the moment, which will improve security. Overall a great place to stay, free internet, a good kitchen and lounge room for meeting other travellers.
