It is located right across the Vatican state, connections to the city center are good, the bus goes every 5 minutes, some attractions can be reached even my foot. The rooms and bathroom were very clean, the kitchen is fully equiped. One night the hot water was missing, but they took care of this problem. The girl who takes care for the flat is very nice and helpfull, she even provided us with the free Rome guide book and some tips.

Great location, great host. We had a lovely time in Rome and we will be back. Perfect place to stay when visit Rome! Thank you :)

Angelo was a fantastic host - the area was awesome, really close to the Vatican + easy to get to the bus! Angelo gave us so many recommendations of what to do and so we never felt at a loss. Overall a great experience and we would go back in a heartbeat.

Envy Italy was very close to all the main attractions by foot or by bus, which was not too far away. Rooms and bathroom We're nuce and clean. Had access to all kitchen appliances, which was nice. He staff were very helpful and great people!

We enjoyed our stay here! Very nice and informative host. Kind of annoying that there is an extra fee for cleaning, additional to the price and the tourvinst taxes. Internet is slow and the TVs not working. Location is good though, two minutes from the Vatikan. Around twenty minutes to the center, buses are frequent if you don't feel like walking. Not a hostel, you rent a room in the apartment where the owner also lives. Nice and quiet!

It isn't a hostel at all; it's an apartment rented out. There's no sign of the place at the address - you need to call up the owner who'd then come down. Also, the host wasn't punctual with letting us the room in time - neither did he give us a place to sit for the 3 hours that we had to wait. Note that they charge 5 Euros a night as cleaning fee - I have NO idea what that's for!

The 'hostel' is basically 2 brothers with 2 flats and some spare bedrooms. They're great guys; friendly, helpful, gave us a map and lots of touristy places to visit. Don't expect anything great with the atmosphere of the hostel. Chances are you're going to be out all day and just coming back to sleep anyway. Got moved to a different room in the 2nd flat for our last 2 nights and WiFi was near non-existent which was the biggest downside. It's right by the Vatican so that's a plus for location!

Everything was fine, except the beds, they were not really comfortable (at least in our room)

Basically get a full apartment to 6 people if both rooms are occupied. Literally right across the street from the Vatican - probably the second-best place to stay in Rome besides being across the river in the heart of the city. Also not a far walk from Trastavere. Some extra fees for cleaning are kinda hidden in there (about 20 euros I believe). Angelo, the operator, is amazing. Super friendly and makes a sincere effort to tell you all the places to visit (both nightlife/food and tourist sites).

The EnvyItaly hostel is NOT a hostel. It is two brothers renting out a spare apartment in their building-- this is not necessarily an issue but should listed appropriately because otherwise it is fraud...which there was a lot of. They charged us for four beds but only gave us three; they DID not tell us there was a cleaning fee and charged us at the end (and blamed it on the hostelworld website). You have to hold a button down in order for water to come out of the shower which is very tedious.

The room that we stayed in was good. However, the internet connection was horrible. My roommate and I went 2-3 days without internet access which was annoying since I had some work and school work to finish up during those 2-3 days. Also it was unfortunate that we were rushed to our room and asked to pay right away without being taught how to use certain appliances in the kitchen and bathroom.

I stayed here 3 nights and only saw the staff the night I checked in. The bathroom smelt bad, especially after running water. It is more of an apartment than a hostel. The location was amazing especially for the price, but that seemed like the only benefit.

This is someone's home with some rooms for rent. One room in their own house, and the other apartment with two rooms across the hall. The apartment was fine. Good location for tourists. But the owners are not at home mostly. The wifi broke down in the first and second midnight and toilet paper ran out. In the morning only the owner's girlfriend was at home, who can't fix the problems. The third night no one was there all night until the next day we leave. Almost no services at all.

Very good stay! Everythig was very good, the owner could not be better, gave us directions and advice about everything. Only thing that was a little bad, were the beds.

A quiet place near to Vatican where you can reach the main attractions in Rome walking or if you prefer you can reach easily to public transport. A great plus: staff is very accessible and helpful and they will give you information about Rome and you can ask about anything you can be interested.

We stayed at the hostel 2 nights. The hostel consists of 2 apartments; the owner lives in one and rent out rooms in both apartments. Our first night there was no running water in the shower or in the sink so we were unable to use the bathroom. There was also a cleaning few of about 10 euro for my friend and I; we didn't even get to use the facilities that we paid him to clean. We were made to switch from one apartment to the other for the 2nd night that we stayed due to the owner's poor planning
