The staff was especially helpful and spoke fine English, The immediate neighborhood is very working class, so quite poor but we never felt unsafe and two minutes walk away were large, touristy streets, Good grocery store and restaurants nearby, We would stay there again; good value and nice room.
Great staffs, poor location. It's in an intense part of the city. Lots of interesting personalities at night on the street. Be extra careful to go and leave from the hotel.
This hotel was a little pearl found in Athens. The hotel was clean, the staff was nice and very helpful and the location was very good. I may point out here that the neighborhood is not particularly "touristic", but it is very close to the metro station and it lets you see a bit of the "more real" Athens and its people. Somehow the hotel even looked too good for the area where it's located.
It's a very nice hotel, really great for 1-2 day long trips. Yeah the locations is bad, but in this part of the city you won't find better. Believe me! We walked a lot, and in the city center there are ugly conditions. So at least the hotel is good, nothing similar with the neighbourhood. Free breakfast was awesome, the room was more thank okay, but the shower needs a curtain... That's all. Great choice for a stay in Athen :) Recommended :)
