This is an excellent hostel. Clean rooms in a beautiful building with friendly staff. Good big bar which doubles as the breakfast room. But a distance the best hostel I've stayed in in the 10 years I've been bringing my students to Barcelona.

I wouldn't recommend it. The location is quite good and I would say the breakfast would be better than you expect from the average hostel buffet. But that's all. But it was way too commercial (I had to pay extra for hiring a blanket and a topsheet, which I would say is ridiculous). The staff made me so uncomfortable. They weren't friendly and supportive at all, the idea of which was shared by many guests I met there.

Perfect location. Location is the best advantage of this hostel. Center of Barcelona, very safe till night, close to many tourist spots. A bit loud till the night, since many young people stay here and hostel is very big. Breakfast was almost perfect, since they made espresso everyday if you ask. Wish that it´s silence at night. Recommend to people who travel alone since it has perfect and safe location and can meet many other travelers.

Great location, and I loved the common room. The woman at the bar was especially nice!! I did think it was a rip off that I had to pay both for a top sheet and a blanket. I've stayed at the one in EP in London, and I was given all that included in the price along with a down comforter.

Excellent place! Very good location, near Casa Batllo and plaza Catalunya! Staffs are very nice too! And the hostel provides groups for watching Flamenco dance.

Price was reasonable and location was good. During our visit, however, some guy broke into our room through the card key door and a woman in our room was stolen her whole cash. They couldn't catch the guy and also couldn't get the money back.

When we got there, our sheets were used and our bed had other people clothes. EVERYTHING that you may need to use, you will have to pay extra...

The main thing to mention about this hostel is that it has a great location for the price. Everything else was to a good standard, the rooms were fine, a free breakfast was included every morning, the place was clean. No complaints.

This was my first time ever staying in a hostel and I loved it. I met so many awesome people and I have actually added some of them as friends on Facebook. The staff was really friendly and knowledgable of all the activities going on in the city and the best way to get there. No matter what time I came in, the receptionist on duty always greeted me with a smile and a wave.

It was a nice stay. It would be nicer if they clean the share showers more than once a day. Its not perfect but is still in probably the best position in the city.

The roof top terrace was closed for the winter even though barcelona was the sunniest and warmest place I had been in europe. The breakfast is just cereal and toast. They should have some local spanish flavor in the breakfast. Also it's quite frustrating to see the walk in rate half of what we booked online in advance.

Actually in Madrid and compared to my experience at Equity point, EP was stellar. Quiet at night which was a plus and clean and location was great. Will be visiting again when im in Barcelona.
