Great location. Rooms are good and safe. But not enough toilets/showers on the floors. Very poor breakfast.

They need more staff or more computers or faster computers, lines are almost til the door. Have to wait for a long time before I can ask a question or check in or check out. Other than that, the breakfast is great and it's a very fun hostel and a good deal for your money.

This hostel was in a great location for getting around and seeing the major sights. Barcelona is very walkable from this hostel.

Poor cleanness and poor usage quality in bathroom. The only pros are location near to metros and cheapness. Depends on person to person.

Staff was great, location even better, if u r looking for place to sleep it is just perfect, but if u need additional facilities like gym or swimming pool that place is not for u, when I was there I met quite nice people so it was fun :), I would recommend that place to anybody who is interested in good value for money and some social life :)

The positives; very clean and located in a pretty great area. Bit far from some of the better clubs in the city, like Razzmatazz, but it's not too far a walk to get into the heart of the gothic district, and if you like shopping the hostel is located on a street just packed with them. Lockers provided are nice and big but you need to remember to bring your own lock for them. The negatives; staff was a bit rude and stuck up, atmosphere was ok and they only give you a bed sheet, no blanket.

This hostel needs to update its web site to mention that it also charges 0.72 euro city tax per night per person and extra 1 euro charge for credit card payment, similar to some other hostels in Barcelona. There is impossible to use wifi, though there is wireless internet connection.

Although we only stayed one night, it was just perfect, 5 minute walk from most of what you'd want to see in Barcelona; and within easy reach of public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful and even with a school party staying in the hostel at the same time it didn't feel cramped. Would definitely recommend this hostel to a friend.

In general a great place. Good coffee in the morning. Big fridge. Clean rooms and good character. Decent showers and lockers. Wifi. Downsides: Would better appreciate constant access to locked luggage. The sheets weren't an actual bed linen just sheets. Need to rent blankets (single payment). And the internet used to be free unlimited now only 20 min? breakfast continental... cheap jam. No fruit to be found.

The location is absolutely perfect, right on Passeig de Gracia. It is a very safe location, with good security measures. However, I did not enjoy my stay. The hostel is so big, there are tons of people coming in and out always. The hallways were full of junior high/high school groups giggling screaming and yelling through the hallways at most hours of the night. The staff was nice and helpful but did not enforce any rules. Bathrooms are not cleaned often enough and the wifi is very very poor.

Generally the staff were very friendly but not always willing to go the extra step to help with activities that was provided through the hostel. Super awesome location and great value. My only concern is after we left my friend had bed bug bites, not many but definitely itchy.

The hostel itself is fantastic. The staff are kind and very helpful, HOWEVER they are ridiculously understaffed, so check in, check out, and even just asking a question can take up to 30 minutes and becomes very annoying. The rooms are clean and everything works. Big bar and breakfast area which is great. Breakfast is pretty crummy, fruit, cereal and toast, but it is free so you cannot complain. The coffee is good!
