Very convenient. Staff is helpful and nice. Met lots of cool people here!

Equity point hostels are consistently brilliant, this one however is easily the best I've been to for overall experience. The staff at reception know the area well and are particularly enthusiastic to help (directing me toward some of the most spectacular food establishments I've been to). I will be coming back to Barcelona and Equity Point in the future.

Excellent location, helpful staff, great variety in breaskfast, which is included in the price. Many bathrooms and showers, very clean. Negative side is very slow internet, you need 5-10 minutes just to check your emails.

I think it's ridiculous that you pay 20 euros a night to pay for towels, a blanket, and a lock separately. When we arrived our room was not clean (it was already past check-in) and we had to make our own beds. The bathrooms were gross. They say they have wifi for free but you have to pay.

We had our own bathroom and were able to leave our luggage before checking in. There's a cool kitchen with free coffee and rolls. Great location as well (almost within sight of the Casa Batlló.) Staff was a little rude at times - when we asked for the sheets that were never delivered to our room we were prompted ''Are you guys sure you don't have any sheets?'' However, staff called a taxi for us in the morning, and we were offered fruit and juice (before breakfast time).

All around great place to stay! Pretty good location, lock down security, clean, and the breakfast buffet had crackers you could keep and eat as snacks later. That was a life saver. Just remember to bring your own towels and blankets if you don't want to pay for them when you get there. They only give you one sheet for your bed.

this is a great hostel. the location is great. i was worride about some of the other comments about the staff not being friendly but this was not my experiecne at all. the staff were very friendly and helpful. it is true that you have to pay for a blanket but the rooms have heat and air conditioning so it is not so bad. as a general tip i would sugest gettng a metro pass. most places you would want to go are only about two stops from the hotel. i would highly recomend this hostel.

Great location !!! The atmosphere was great, the hostel was clean and rooms are kept clean and tidy but the only thing is hair dryer in women toilet did not work. The breakfast was poor but it is free so we did not complain :) Perfect kitchen to cooking in the evening. Staff friendly, especially girl from Poland. The wi-fi internet was really slow and didn't work sometimes at all. The time spent there was fantastic , will definitely stay again. We had a great time in Barcelona!

It is overal a really correct hostel, but it is really big and you might not found the friendly ambiance you would find in smaller ones, also the washrooms on our floor wasn't cleaned in 5 days until we ask for it.

The price you pay is mostly for the location, its situated on Passeig de Gracia, so its close to lots of shops and restaurants. However I think they lack they hospitality and warmth that a hostel needs to keep people coming back. The wifi didn't work in our room and we also were only given a sheet and had to pay 2 euro for a blanket.. Seeing as its the middle of winter I think thats a bit steep. Hostels out of the main shopping / touristy area are better priced and offer better service.

They dont provide any blanket (if you want one is 3 euros extra,,,!! ) and if you pay with credit or debit card is also 1 euro per night extra,,,,!!

The only good thing about this hostel is the Location. The staff is AWFUL. Especially the girl from Venezuela. Rude and Arrogant. The hostel is too big, you feel like you are in prison. The beds are small and make too much noise. The kitchen is small. The Breakfast in awful. The internet connection in the hostel is awful. Very negative experience in this hostel. Do not recommend it.

The location was great and the hostel were big, clean and had a great commonroom with a bar. The staff was not so great, showed no interest, seemed annoyed if we asked for directions or information. Otherwise, good price and could definitly stay here again :)

Very friendly staff, clean place and good breakfast. However, the wi-fi internet was really slow and didn't work at our room. And also they dont provide blanket, you have to rent them.

Location and facilities are quite good. Some of the staff were unfriendly. They charge you 2 euros for the blankets (and the heating was very poor)
