I was only here for one night, but did enjoy this hostel. The staff at the front deck was VERY kind, cheerful, and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean. The location was great and the amenities (bar, common rooms, etc.) seemed quite nice.

This hostel is HUGE so watch out for large groups! The location is unbeatable - you are in the ritzy part of town! The bar sells cheap beer and Sangria. The roof terrace is also really nice and you can dry your laundry there. The hostel is great for meeting people from all walks of life. We did a walking tour with Keene and Natty - we liked them both (even though they are very different). Really cool hostel if you are not afraid of how big it is.

excellent location in the centre of Barcelona. But it's too big and lacks character, it was like staying at school camp. It must have been school holidays because there were large groups of kids there, they looked around 14 with teachers coordinating them, which isn't the vibe you're after when backpacking around Europe and looking to meet other travelers. Kitchen facilities were good, showers weren't great, staff were ok. No vibe though. Will go for a mid size hostel with character next time.

Great hostel, super location right on the passeig de gracia, couldn't ask for better, everything doable on foot from the hostel. The common areas are very nice, the roof top terrace is amazing. Would definitely come back here for my next stay in Barcelona

There was a mistake with our reservation and we had to change room 3 times throughout our stay. The girl with the red hair on the desk was lovely but most of the other staff had a lot of attitude or were just completely unfriendly. Not a whole lot of vibe within the place. Good location, but I wouldn´t stay here again

Extremely rude staff. Hostel excessively noisy-doors are so heavy that u have to pull hard to close them. As such no way to avoid making loud noises with doors. This results in nonstop sounds all day and night. Rooms are not sound proof eisther so u can hear every talk. All of my roomates and I could not sleep at all. Horrible 3 nights at this hostel! Avoid if u can.

the reception is always full you feel like you cant ask them for advice because they are always busy and it takes a long time to check in or check out they need more people working at the reception or a better management on it

The reception desk had usually a bad attitude towards everyone. WiFi is really slow and you dont have free internet. You actually have to pay for it and you have a limited time for that as well. Rooms and bathrooms are pretty good. The location was actually really good, being at the center of Barcelona. Easy to get everywhere.

you have to pay for everything but the sheets on your bed. i don't know about the breakfast though always slept through that. showers are free and they have hot water but its a timer and every 22seconds you have to push the nob. the staff can be helpful unless a lot of people need them. the hostel is 6 stories with easily 50+ people per floor. lots and lots of people. not bad but to many people for me. luggage room is accessed by everyone.

I felt like I was constantly being charged more money once I had already paid for my bed in the 12 person dorm room. I had to pay more money to get a blanket and more money to use my credit card. The majority of people traveling are backpackers who don't have room for blankets in their backpacks

Hostel is decent and clean. If your looking for some thing more quiet I would suggest some thing else. It can be a bit full on in a 12 person dorm which you cant expect much else. Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. The location is the best feature of the hostel walk straight out in to the city which you can get a metro or tourist bus any where. Restaurants are every where and at a decent price.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. The place is pretty large but the common room is large too. The breakfast was OK, but nothing special. Nice that it was included though. It looked like there was just one shared bathroom on the floor I was on (5th), but that didn't seem to be a problem. IMO, a very good value.

Staff is super-friendly, and the hostel itself is pleasant. The bar / dining / internet room is great for getting to know people from all over the world, and for just chilling out.

Very clean! Staff really busy (but good!), they could hire someone more to have time to answer questions about barcelona etc. I can defenitely recommend someone to stay here. A really good place to meet other travellers and have a beer with also. 2 bars in the hostel! If you like that.

The location is great but I didn't like the atmosphere... the place is huge and staff are really unhelpful. It's not nice to have to pay extra for blankets and bedsheets. The shower kept going cold. Breakfast is quite good though.

Excellent in terms of facilities. Although the downside being so big is that it loses any value on the personal side that smaller hostels offer. One smaller problem being probably what is a 400+ bed hostel is that reception only has 2 staff (sometimes 1) on which means it can be pretty hectic. Location is great though!
