Good location, good price, relatively clean and decent atmosphere. The wifi is not free -- you have to pay 3 euro. It is free in the tiny lobby with no seating area, but if you want to use it anywhere else you have to pay. There is also a fine per person per night to use a credit or debit card. Also, there are not outlets for each bed. There is one outlet by the door of each room, and everyone has to charge their appliances there, which is inconvenient and unsafe.

I felt like this hostel was just too big. The bathrooms on my floor were often dirty. The toilet stayed clogged for two days. The guy at the front desk seemed to hate his job. I overpaid for wifi. It was a very convenient location on an expensive street.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. The staff run the place like a machine, so while they may not seem super friendly, it's because they're always busy. Special thanks to la Peruana in reception who actually is very friendly. Clean showers, clean rooms, tons of storage space for food and a very nice kitchen. I also loved the terrace and chillout room. The hostel is centrally located on Paseo de Gracia, so you are literally close to everything. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location with clean facilities, really kind employees and an awesome atmosphere. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends coming to Barcelona and will always stay here when I come!

Place was decent. It's pretty much a massive hostel catered to young travelers looking to party, which isn't bad, but there's no friendly vibe, just a whole lot of people keeping to themselves or getting overly dressed up to go drink. Also the staff was often aloof, inept, or rude. The location was good though since there's a metro stop really close.

Decent place can't really complain too much as we only stayed one night

Pretty great hostel, conveniently located close to everything you would want to see in Barcelona...besides the beach but for that it's just a metro ride away. Was very clean, the staff helped you out, very lively, there's no wifi in the room unless you pay for it but it wasn't that bad. Overall very good stay!

Overall we had a really good stay here, perfect location, lockers were safe and the roof terrace was really nice. What we found a bit annoying was that in a 12 person room there was only one charging point towards the door which only had 6 plug holes. Other than that it was really great!

wouldn't let my friends in. their common area was on roof which was hot. nobody in other common area on 6th floor. needed it at bottom.

The shower in the rooms en suites was very poor - the shower needs to be a bit bigger and the water pressure needs to be harder and they also need to go for just a lite bit longer. I think the locks should be offered to each person included in the price - not have to pay extra. And the roof top bar people should be aloud to put tables together so that you can sit more then 4 people at a table - especially when your in a hostel and meeting new people all the time. The waiter was very rude sackhim

This hostel is ridiculously expensive, with you getting very little apart from being in an expensive area where little is going on. You cannot bring friends into the hostel even to the bar, and there is a fine for drinking alcohol in this hostel !! I could have had a better and cheaper time in a hotel. Don't bother

The staff was really rude.

Overall this is a great hostel, no denying the great location, 10 feet from the metro that takes you anywhere you want to go and 10mins walk from Las Rambla street. We had a great stay and even extended it another night because we loved the place. Only complaint is the rude, arrogant guy at the front desk (long hair, rocker guy). He told me had been working here for 6 years and i think it's 6 years to long...

The hostel was a bit large for me, and it created an atmosphere that was very different than I was looking for. Many of the people staying there were "too cool", and the second floor "bar" is awkward. The terrace and reading area on the 7th floors all close very early, and it's often impossible to find a quiet space. Depends what you're looking for!

I stayed as a solo traveller and had quite a good experience. The hostel has a great location and it was easy to walk everywhere from it. The atmosphere was good, it's just a pretty large hostel so the common room sometimes would be busy and others quiet but it was quite easy to meet people in the large rooms. Clean facilities and the staff was really nice and energetic for the most part! I would definitely recommend to stay here.

The hostel was clean and had a high level of security. One of the staff members was really rude and unhelpful (the buff guy with the tattoos). You also have to pay for a padlock and there's 1€ surcharge per night if you pay with credit card. This is especially annoying because the hostel is already quite pricey. The beds were very uncomfortable too, but clean and the rooms were spacious with airconditioning. Also full of australians on contiki tours haha

the bathroooms were always out of handle towel, the floor always wet and clovered in hair and toilet paper same with the kitchen floor was cover in dirt, food and water, dishes never properly cleaned i was speaking with one guy and he said that he had his bag stolen from the luggage room and got told locals came in and took it ive stayed at cheaper hostels then this one and had better experience

Stayed here one night. Huge hostel (multiple floors), almost hotel-like. Bedrooms are spacious and clean. Lockers available. More bathrooms in the hallways which makes showering easier. Only downside would be the weak wifi connection and that the large size of the hostel makes it a little harder to meet people besides your roommates!
