It would be nice if they got new mattresses.. but otherwise it was a very pleasant stay.

It has free Wifi, the dorms are really really cool... its like a gothic stile too.. and it feels that you have your own prived cabin.. i like that.. breakfast is good, and it has a good location as well, just a few minuts walk from the beach and from downtown.. just there's one thing they have to change.... there's someone working at night that seems to be tired of his job.. he's not nice and always angry.. so dont get home too late cause he will get so mad. But the rest of the stuff is helpfull

Hostel was good. Great Location. would stay again. Maybe a few hooks in the shower to hand the stuff on might be a good idea.

Room we stayed in was dark, smelly and bunks verrry high up. Kitchen only has one element, very small! No blanket provided, just a sheet. But good location if you want to stay in old town and don't plan to hang around the hostel much. Staff friendly

Hostel is located in the Gothic quarter, just off the square where Juame I metro stop is (yellow line). Hostel is clean and classic dorm style with "some" privacy with curtains on beds. The dorms a bit gloomy, as main light is on a timer, though you get a bedside light and plug. Floors are a bit squeaky, so if your a late or early riser, there's a chance you'll wake someone up. Amenities are standard with common room and "small" kitchen with games and TV on hand. Staff are friendly.

Since we had 12 people in a room , some people came back very late in the night and inevitably made some noise which definitely affected others . I think if there are some rooms for 6 or 8 people , that would be much better.

Unique style of beds, very colorful place, very helpful staff, especially the cool guy that worked Sunday during the day --> told us THE BEST restaurant to go to and gave fantastic advice about the city!!!! Cheers man, Barcelona is the best city in the WORLD! Atmosphere in the hostel among travelers was not overly friendly but I guess you get that travelling around Christmas time....

The Hostel is in a great location, but is not a welcoming environment. There are not a lot of activites or events, and they don't promote the ones they have. And most of the events leave from Equity Point Centric. The rooms were also very strange, the main lights do not stay on. And there are weird cubbies for the beds with curtains. The shower room was also very dirty, and in general the hostel smelled funky. The breakfast was decent, but the regular coffee wasnt free :(.

Got the job done, exactly what I look for in a hostel. Provided great city tours/pub crawl, and breakfast included.

Such a great hostel and really awesome bunk beds. Me and my 2 friends had a blast. The location is fantastic right near the metro and great good places just down the road. Showers always had hot water and the staff were always helpful. I wouldn't do the tapas and flamenco nIghy they do the tapas wasn't great and you can find heaps of flamenco dancing places around. Do the free walking tours and the pub crawl. Great place.

Even though I appreciated the possibility of privacy by the curtains, I didn't quite like the feeling of being closed in with no access to window light. And why couldn't the light be switched on?

Could do with a better system in the showers! We were on the first floor, where two of the showers were out of service. You could not get changed outside the shower cubicles (unless you go into the toilet cubicles), due to the fact that the door of the shower room was open onto the corridor/stairs!! Other than that, great value hostel!

Cannot rave about this hostel enough. Clean, cool, safe and in a great location. Breakfast is included which is always a plus. The beds were comfortable and each bed had its own little nook with a curtain for privacy. The staff was very helpful with directions and when our friend lost her debit card. The only downfall was that the floors creaked a lot, so people checking out early tended to wake the rest of the room up, but whatever. If you want an awesome time in Barcelona stay here.
