You have to pay for towels and blankets, no fridge (at least I couldn't find one), and almost all of the lights are on a timer so the lights go off every 20 seconds... When you're in the bathroom... Trying to pee. Not cool.
In general out stay was good but the mattresses, really? Very uncomfortable, soft the when u sleep there is nearly a hole which is touch the bottom of the bed. Staff r friendly and helpful. There is alway food in breakfast even If u come 9.55am.
Interesting place to stay. Each bed almost feels like it's own room, similar to Japanese sleep capsules. Unfortunately the mattress and pillow were pretty grotty, but appropriate considering the low price.
Hostel well located to the nearest Metro and short walk to La Rambla. I stayed on the second floor and the floors were so loud and squeaky it was enough to wake you up if someone came in your room late. The staff were nice and informative and the facilities in the room were great. The privacy curtain on the top bunk was a nice touch. The shower floors were pretty filthy so I would wear flipflops. Otherwise I would stay here again.
Despite saying online linen was free, other patrons were charged. Thus, no linens on a pretty gross bed, showers are run by buttons you have to press every 30 seconds and were not particularly clean. Light on all night with no way to turn it off and quite loud as well.Would not recommend.
Located in walking distance from many of Barcelona's attractions. The hostel is fairly nice and I liked it overall. The breakfast could be improved.
Just perfect. Especially love the curtain. You stay in a hostel, but you still have privacy
Great choice for Barcelona. Close to Plaza de Catalunya, Ciutat Vella, Barceloneta, everything basically
Hostel is in a good location in the city. Metro, bus or taxi is all around. The weekends get busy and the prices go up. When i stayed there everyone in the common area kept to themselves mostly. The beds have a sheet to block you from other sleepers. Overall, i would stay there again.
The shower was cold for 2 days!!! And they didnt do anything. Lucky that it was not cold that day, but terrible shower in this situation
stayed only for two nights, had a pleasant stay! beds were much more comfortable than what they looked like, i had a 6 bed dorm room. bathrooms were fine, but the showers not so much, a bit rustic and not the cleanest.. wifi was working great, and outside terrace very enjoyable! overall i could recommend this hostel!
It's in a really good area where everything is close. Also the beds are really good, avoid to stay in the up beds because there are 2 of them that don't have a "wall" which separates you from the other bed. The ambient was not that good, everyone was in their own world.
Very central hostel with a good atmosphere. The rooms were big and there was plenty of space for luggage. I had a good stay!
Nice friendly hostel. Very clean and nice room top terrace. Would certainly go back.
Great location. Clean. Good beds. Nice atmosphere without being too loud and noisy
This hostel is in walking distance of the square, beach and metro. Perfect location. Showers are very good and clean Some staff members are very helpful, others not so much. Lockers are right beside your bed, which is very handy. Bring you own lock though. Brilliant diner beside the hostel called Bernie's. Would definitely recommend it! Light switch in the room does tend to turn off every 5 minutes, which is very annoying. Apart from this, I would recommend this hostel!

This hostel has a lovely atmosphere and is a great place for meeting new people and exploring really all of Barcelona. The Gothic Quarter location is really great. The only issue that we came across is that the rooms smelled slightly musty from the heat and that you can't drink in the lobby after 12. Otherwise I'd definitely recommend this hostel!
Good value and cheap prices, but kind of dirty. Squeaky wood floors make it hard to sleep when you hear every single footstep in the room.

YOU MUST STAY HERE! The staff is wicked cool and the location is right in the center of a prime area. E. Gothic definitely attracts fun groups of people and each night was a new experience! Do not get drunk and walk alone in this city though. Bad experiences fersure. Stick with a group from the hostel, and you'll want to because they're so cool
Every lock hole is small so you are forced to buy a lock from them. The mattresses are foam so you end up sleeping in a hammock five minutes into laying down. This was the first hostel where no one respected sleeping hours. Roommates would turn on the light at 2 in the morning and chat in the room. I think this hostel is great for 18 year olds who are experiencing their first taste of freedom and think pulling all nighters are exciting. Staff wasn't friendly either. They didn't seem to care.
