The constant flow of reggae music was not appreciated, especially during the early morning and night when trying to get some sleep. I thought it was very rude and inconsiderate how the staff would come in to clean the rooms and shout to each other from across the room when people were trying to sleep. Yes people come to Barcelona to party, but after a long day or night you deserve to get some decent relaxation (which is what you're paying for) and that was impossible here.

Very nice hostel, cool room set-up, but the kitchen was very subpar - really all they have is a fridge and microwave. Also, the rooms are very hot at night and there doesn't seem to be any AC, but overall the hostel was worth what it cost.

If you wan't to enjoy your trip and visit the city, I don't recommend you this hostel. If you want to party, come back drunk and stay at the hostel only for sleeping, then it could be the one you are looking for.

This place is WAY better than Equity Point Centric, for sure. We loved the character of the rooms and enjoyed the vibe we got here. Great place to stay and very close to bars and such!

Such good value for money, right next to a metro which made traveling around easy!

Large, with good-sized washrooms and showers. Kitchen was small so we had to prepare our meals in the common area on the tables. One night the people in the next room were noisy, and when I notified the staff they immediately took care of the problem. Great atmosphere with cool decor, and the free tours you could take were great! Wi-fi worked more or less in the rooms. Was unfortunately very difficult to find because we took the wrong exit from the subway. Otherwise, great hostel.

Great location, big lockers (you can have more than one), the showers arent so great and the breakfast is really poor. There are a lot of places to go eat around though.

I could really use two sheets instead of just one. The dorm rooms with bunk beds are really noisy, might be a good idea to offer the earplugs by default to people checking in the dorm rooms: that can improve their experience by A LOT. I usually bring mine with me, but not everyone is so considerate :-) Other than that, everything is great! Breakfast was good, location is perfect, and the staff is really warm, thank you guys!

Great hostel! Best location possible! I shared a 14 people bedroom but it was by far the hostel I had more privacy, the beds didn't have visual contact with the others. I recomend

wifi sucks. poor atmosphere and breakfast. People are noisy around this area and in the hostel. So that I couldn't rest well during my stay. The facilities in the room are great (reading lights, plug space, personal cabin, hangs) Some staffs weren't friendly. Clean ladies are good.

it seems to be a good place if you are a young traveler, traveling with friends, and plan on going out a lot. if you are looking just for a place to rest and sleep at night, it's not ideal, it gets too noisy. the location and set up were nice, but it seems to be a place meant for people who want to party, not sleep.

The hostel was just fine. The guests of the hostel were very inconsiderate of others though and it may be because of the separation curtains between each bed it is nice for some privacy but people don´t seem to consider each other when they cannot see each other. I would not stay here again because of the atmosphere of the other guests. Nothing against the hostel.

The hostel was very good, especially the beds in the room were spacious enough. The toilets were very clean

Equity Point was a good enough hostel for the money. Staying in a 14 person room, you can't expect to have too much privacy or any of the luxuries of staying in a hotel, but it definitely got the job done. Bathrooms were nice and clean and breakfast was decent enough to get you going for the day. Only complaint would be that the wifi only worked in the common area, but that wasn't a huge deal.

I hated this place. First it is dirty and filthy. I have stayed in a lot of hostels and this one was particularly shady and unclean. The dorms were disgusting as were the toilets. There were people puking, taking drugs in the dorm- I felt very unsafe. The common area is large but the overall vibe was very very negative and shady. The location is great but don't stay here- it was completely disgusting.
