I and my friends enjoyed staying at this hostel! It was close to downtown and it only costs 5 euros to and from the airport. The staff were particularly nice to help me get the right directions to places and were kind in answering all my questions. I would stay here again if I came to Madrid!

No Fresh Air in the room No Shuttle service to go in the Airport The security is not really good because the staff never asks to show the card and anybody can enter the room (just one key for all the room) No Wifi in the room Common room not really functional

The hostel is in an excellent location. Extremely central. The hostel was clean and has an okay free breakfast. The only downside is the security. There are only 2 keys per room so if someone wonders off the key or falls asleep then you can't get into your room. There are no lockers in the rooms and you're supposed to show a pass to get your room key from the front desk but they never actually look at the pass.

The best thing was the location. Equity point has the best location in madrid out of all the places I've been in Madrid. Clean, welcoming and helpful stuff. Bigger rooms, compared to other hostels I've been. Rooms are a little noisy in night, as its close to busy area. Running hot and cold water but smaller size bed. However, far better than other hostels and when comes to convenience, its a five star.

Well organised hostel

Needs more electrical outlets in rooms, and lockers. No hostel cafe/bar. But OK

I had been on the same chain of hostels, but earlier in Barcelona, and the difference was substancial, not only did the access to the room was much more impractical (key instead of ecard), they didn't give us more than one key per room, wich was very impractical, as the room was for 5 people, and only 3 of us knew each other, as for the others it was impractical for them as well, as they didnt know us.The breakfast hours were too inflexible and there were too few bathroooms for so much people.

Location is really good! Room was small but we had own toilet. There was breakfast, bread, juice, coffee...

Add a coat of paint like everywhere. It looked so ran down.

Everyone was very nice as well as a great location.

Poor directions. Mid renovations. It needs renovating. Shower leaked into room. Very noisy. Bed covers ripped. Staff indifferent, most unhelpful/unpleasant. Broken sockets in room. Former hotel in dire need of improvement and refurbishment. No sign outside. Bad breakfast. Poor social area. Very cheap though. Could be great, but isn't.

Perfect location in the heard of Madrid and really good breakfast.

Fine in terms of the accommodation, but some of the staff were a bit cold. Understandable, given the size the place, but had no desire to stay a second time.

Stayed here are few times and each time the locker's in the room were broken. Can't use them even if you have your own lock. The entire key system is weird were there is one key for each room and you have to delegate with your room mates when coming and going. Shower can sometimes be cold if wanting one at peak time. There's a microwave but they only have plastic cups and a few plates so you have to wash someone else's dishes if you want to use it.

The location was great, just a few minutes walking from Puerta del Sol and other interesting places such as el Congreso, Gran Vía, El Prado, etc,. The staff was nice and friendly, the room tidy and clean. The breakfast buffet was quite basic, but good enough. It is not a 5 star hostel but I would definitely repeat there.

i had a great stay and the staff were very helpful, the only fault i can point out is, it is very noisy at night and was very difficult to get asleep. i wouldn't recommend it if you like ur sleep.

the staff were really nice. the common area was the only place with internet so it was basically impossible to meet people at this hostel cause everyone was on their phones when not in their rooms! so its a good value but not a place where you are likely to make other traveling friends unless your dormmates are cool.

too crowded

It is located in the city center. Our double room is on the top floor but there isn't elevator.. The room is very small and WIFI only works near reception desk. The breakfast is very limited.
