This hostel can be a bit hard to find at the beginning, but once you get used to the labyrinth of streets, you realise it's located 2 seconds away from everything. The building as such is absolutely AMAZING. Many chilling spots in authentic Moroccan architecture. Desert tents. Straight out of 1001 nights! Astonishing rooftop and great view. Room cleanliness was a bit mehhh. The reception staff is a not so insightful and a bit vain, s
Good place to stay! Breakfast was great with coffee, mint tea, orange juice, bread, jam, cakes, and pancake-like pastries. The rooftop terraces with chairs are really nice. The pool was closed for cleaning when we were there but it looked like a good area. Rooms are fine and bathrooms were good with hot water. Staff was friendly. Lots of other people staying there but the hostel is so big that there didn't seem to be one main place to meet others. Location is prime. Definitely recommend!
The hostel was really close to the Main Square and to the Souks, so great location, the breakfast was not a huge buffet, but really nice for the price. Unfortunately there was no water in the pool, but there was construction going on, so it will probably be there soon. Very nice terrace with a nice view of the sunset.
Maybe the best hostel I've ever been. Location is great, 3 minutes to Djemaa el Fna. Difficult to find first time, but will discover an excellent hostel. Staff is great, at disposition for everything at every hour. Higly recomanded!!!

Salaam alekoum ... Equity Point is like a resort for backpackers! Really enjoyed my stay because I found it so easy to meet people around the breakfast table, around the pool area or on the terrace at sunset time. The staff is lovely! Cheers Amagi
İf it were not at its present location, this place would have been a 7 star hotel...Pool, the building itself and so many architectural details. As a traveller, we are so lucky that it is a hostel. Breakfast is poor. Could have been richer. Mattresses are comfy and blankets are new and soft. Atmosphere was not so good but it is low season and I could not see so many people around. Staff is helpful and welcoming. Thanks Equity Point!
Great hostel near the big square but you do have to navigate through a few shady looking alleys to get to the hostel and the pushy fake guides awaite your arrival at the beginning. The rooms are nice and the facilities are very good. The hostel has a nice restaurant and a terrace on the roof. One hostel worker was kind of a pain in the ass and kept sending groups away to their room because of noise while others didn't mind.
Other than the rooms being a bit chilly at night (our heater did not work), our stay at Equity Point was fantastic. Great breakfast, lots of places to sit and relax, close proximity to many of the markets and cafes, and safe, We used the hostel to book a ride to the airport and a day trip to Essaouira and were satisfied. Staff was helpful and always available. Convenient that the hostel accepts both Euro and Dirham for payments!
nicely designed w/ simple decent breakfast provided. downside-you pay for everything. We paid for a small locker
An oasis of loveliness in the Marrakech maelstrom.
Top notch. No wonder they have won best Africa hostel prize.
i stayed there for 2 nights, the toilets are in the room and the doors don't close properly so you hear everything! They failed to pick me up from the airport and had to make my own way then tried to over charge me. Unfortunately a friend had a problem just out the front of the hostel where a man tried to sexually assualt and rob her, altough this was nothing to do with the hostel the manager was not interested in informing other travellers of the risk and showed no remorse.

This hostel is really nice and has a nice rooftop and swimming pool. On the other hand, I didn't really like the atmosphere. For me, this hostel felt more like a hotel instead of of typical hostel. Although, if you are looking for a nice place to stay and hang out, this hostel wont disappoint you! It is quite hard to find, but once you know the directions it's ok. There are small signs, but you can always ask someone for help (and pay them a small amount of money afterwards)
This hostel is amazingly clean, good location near Jamaa el Fna, could be hard to find, but if you follow directions you will manage to get there. Staff is really friendly, room is nice. Breakfast is simple, but its included in the low price.
everything it was perfect during my holiday, I recommend 100 % Equity Point.

The street corridor leading to the hostel is always crowded with some opportunists, must pay attention. I would not recommend to go alone at night to this hostel. Everything else was OK and the buildings interior is very nice.
very beautiful hostel inside. only complaint would be that staff was not very helpful showing the facility and left us to wander by ourselves. and didn't like the locals waiting outside main entrance waiting for tourist to come up and either beg for money or harass you to show you around for money. felt the hostel should not allow the loitering right outside their door. .
Nice hostel in an old building, bit of a maze! Our room was tucked away next to a staircase and quite small but good enough for our stay. Staff were lovely, always very helpful. Beds were super comfy! Location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from the main square.
The Medina area sure is a maze but you won't be having any problems in finding the hostel if you just follow the instructions given in the "Map and Directions". When you have walked it once and paid attention to the landmarks, you will remember it for the rest of the stay. The hostel was very clean and the staff was friendly. Ear plugs are recommended since the noise from the common areas might be disturbing during nights. The rooftop restaurant was a great place to meet people and socialize.
Hard to find in the beginning but that goes for most places inside medina. Once familiarized, pretty easy to locate. Big general space, nice courtyard with a view, spotlessly clean(at least in Moroccan standard I guess). Great rooftop view to chill, or a have a free buffet style continental breakfast on(simple but sufficient). Only improvement is to offer little better ice breaking stuff(events, etc). Hard to get to meet people unless during the breakfast.
