Most of the people with whom we shared a room (9 beds) were rather messy and loud, which was frustrating. However, the hostel itself was very nice. The guy at the front desk was helpful and you didn't feel like you were wasting his time if you asked him a question. In addition to that, the location was fantastic. While eating breakfast (which was very nice and also included), I could look at the ocean, and it was just a few steps away from the beach itself.

Actually I though from the reviews that it is a really good hostel, but it was not like that. Even though the rooms are seperate you can hear everything from the other rooms as well as you can see when they switch on their lights. That is because there is a 1/2 meter gap at the top of the wall!!! It is horrible if you not only have to listen to the people IN your room talking in the middle of the night but nearly to the whole hostel! And in our room was not even a window!

I stood in a dorm for 3 nights and in general I was satisfied with it and the location is simply incredible. There were some little things that were annoying. For first, even if it was one of the cheapest places in Barcelona, it was a bit expensive for the room I slept in, though, I don\'t know any other hostels in Barcelona and that I had pay 3 euros for a blanket, it\'s not included in the price - I mean, what is it??? Anyway, it was good, the staff was friendly, there wasn\'t any big problem.

too noisy, walls doesn"t isolate the rooms, no windows in the room, too tiny rooms, looks like train dormitory. Cleaness not good. I wouldn"t recomend it.

The hostel was right on the beach which was nice if that´s what youŕe there for. Itś pretty far from anything else. You may not want to leave your bags there, they don´t lock them up at all and people are in and out of there all day.

noisy as the walls dont go right to the roof and had inconsiderate americans in the room next to us ready to party. good location though and nice to be on the beach. a bit of a walk from town though when your in a drunken state. other than that, was great.

There was sand everywhere when we first arrived, to be expected with the beach right outside the front door, but was cleaned for us the next day when people checked out! The people at the front desk were so nice and helpful. They can tell you have been traveling for a while and make check-in super quick and easy and enjoyable. One guy recommended a few Vegan restaurants to my friend and another night security guard wasn't mad at me when I lost my security card, just calmly rechecked everything.

The staff was absolutely FABULOUS. We had some travel troubles and they did everything in their power to help us out! Also, fabulous location and good price. The one comment I would make is to let guests know that they need to rent bed covers beforehand. Thanks for a great stay!

The Staff was excellent and very kind. The hostell is ok, but the place to eat or to meat people is not nice. Also the breakfast is not so good. The rooms are ok, but you can here every one every where. Last morning there arrived a group of English boys and girls and the were making noice for the hole hostell. So for me the location is very nice, the price is ok and all around is the hostell ok. Greetz Karl

I don't usually review hostels but this hostel needs to be reviewed as I really wouldn't recommend it. They charge you 1 Euro extra per night if you want to pay by credit card. You get supplied 1 sheet but if you require another sheet you have to pay 2 Euros. If you want a blanket you have to pay another 2 Euros. The kitchen is nothing more than a fridge and a microwave, the room is so small only one person can fit in it. The room was grubby and wasn't cleaned at all during 3 days.

Being on the beach is great but that is about it. You are literally sleeping in a cubby hole with 6 other people. Like everyone else has said, the walls don't go to the top so you can hear everything and cannot make noise. The staff made very inappropriate comments the entire stay and made my group and I extremely uncomfortable. I would never stay here again for that sole reason. You can't drink in the hostel past 11 and have to be quiet. Overall bad experience

There's one thing I really didn't liked. The fact that you book a seven-bed-room and get into a room in which the walls are not completely build to the ceiling. So it's more a 21-bed-room in fact of loudness and in fact that theres wasn't a window in our middle romm.

The kitchen consisted of a microwave and pizza cooker, cutlery, plates, etc. No stove or oven, so be aware. The place was literally RIGHT at the beach, it was beautiful. A 10-15 minute walk to the metro, along a street full of seafood restaurants. The supermarket is around the corner. You must buy blankets (2euros), so bring some or suffer without them if you're cheap like me. Nice chill area and 20 free minutes on the computer.

Location was perfect. Could walk right out onto the beach. Nice places to eat close by. The walk along the beach was great. Great view of the W hotel to one side and the Frank Gehry fish sculpture to the other. Hot clubs are down along the beach as well. Juan at the front, who works the night shift, is the BEST! ha so much fun this trip. stay here!

Perfect location, just a few steps to the beach and hundreds meter to metro station. Friendly staffs and good facilities. Highly recommended.
