The actual sleeping accommodations are poor However, the personal service and tour guide assistance was outstanding. We could not have had the experiences we did without the help of our guide. Baotou should not be the destination of your trip but a base for which to begin. This is not a luxury trip but a rough tour of mongolian culture. The desert, the grasslands and lastly Mongolian Park, are worth having to spend the night in industrial Baotou. Erdeng will arrange your stay in the countryside.
