We cannot fault this place: creatively decorated rooms in a traditional house set in a lovely garden by river, in a village about 5 km from Florence on the Forli road. Owner Marco helped us book galleries and gave advice on getting into town: we booked the Uffici for Sunday when central parking is allowed & free. Next day, as parking in town is very restricted and dear, drove 10 min into the next village (free parking) from where buses run every 1/2 hour until late in the evening. Great!

This location was well outside Florence, and would probably be a hassle to get into the city without a car. We had a difficult time locating it, as it is in a community that named all the streets the same, and the address numbers are not in any order: go towards the river and you'll see it. The place itself was neat, and the room and bathroom was very clean. The only staff member we interacted with was friendly, and fed us a delicious breakfast. Not much to do nearby, better for a private stay
