No internet, very far so no facilities around(no taxi, no bar, no supermarket), It's a hotel lostin the mountain. We cancelled our reservation when we saw the place. We wait more then 1 hour aroud to have a taxi to leave this place. No good for bagpackers!

I'm sorry that you feel this way. You seemed to be angry that (the cab of your choice) that you arrived in overcharged you, which is beyond our control. The comment that there is no taxi and supermarket is not true, we also have a 600ft wireless modem. If you had read our information, you would have realized that we have no bar on site. However there are actually 3 bars almost beside each other, less than a 5min walk away. You also fail to mention that before you even arrived you were upgraded to an extra king suite, that is very clean and new, and have 45 channels of cable tv, that for your money you actually get a suite that is over 900Sqft of space. You also fail to mention that we were given you a discount (just because you were upset about the cab fare), on this seem suit. You also fail to mention that you were only staying one night. With all that said I do hope you found a place to your liking and had a good time.

Our room at Escape Villas was much more then we expected! The guest houses are set up like actual apartments. We had a full kitchen plus washer and dryer and a sitting room apart from our bedroom. Everything was modern and clean. Marlene and her family were fantastic! One night she even sent up an authentic Jamaican dinner she had made. Everything was wonderful including the view from our bedroom balcony. Escape Villas are quite far outside of the city of Ocho Rios. 25 minute cab ride.
