Esperanto is one of the newest independently owned hostels in Montañita. We opened our doors this year's season 2011 - 2012. The Hostel is strategically located in a quiet, safe neighborhood, close to the town's main strip and just a few meters from the ocean. Of course with a beautiful view of the beach and the sea. We offer all the comforts and services that you as traveler/backpacker may need, always meeting our commitments with the evironment.
All rooms have the same amount and kind of comfort. Fans, mosquito nets and safety boxes in every room. Hot water in all showers (non electric). Electricity generator in case of power out. There are also communal benefits such as the kitchen, TV lounge, terrace, computer, internet connection and more.
We are proud to say that our hostel is totally unique. We guarantee that Montañita and its wonders along with our list of amenities and friendly staff will make it hard for you to leave!

Cancellation Policy: 72hours, late cancellations and no shows will be charged the amount of the first night
Cash only accepted as payment upon arrival

This property has a 3 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
Our hostel, is not recomendade for kids
We have 24 hours reception, in the night if you see the door close, just ring the bell, or you are allowed to kick the door, if the guard is sleeping.
