Overall a good experience: quite large room with pc and sky tv, excellent location (basically on the station square), close to relatively affordable cafes and restaurants.

On our trip around Europe, this was one of the most disappointing hostels we stayed at. The showers are very poor and ran cold for most of our stay. The receptionist was average - told us to come back and speak to him later because he was skyping with his family :s I wouldn't recommend staying there if you have any other option...at all.

The lady on in the mornings is so amazingly helpful, she gave us a map and marked out everywhere to go and some great local restaurants for authentic Italian food. The facilities were perfect, great bathrooms and kitchen with everything as well as laundry. The room was like a hotel, a nice break from the hostels although not the place to meet other travelers. Could walk everywhere in Florence from here and so close to the train station, it comes highly recommended :)

Our first room had bed-bugs however we noticed within the first few hours and they moved us to a smaller but clean room straight away, no questions asked. The next day we were going to cancel our reservation however they offered us an upgraded room in another building and were extremely apologetic about what happened. It is great they looked after it so efficiently however we wouldnt stay there again as bed bugs just aren't the type of thing you want to catch while traveling.

Thanks for the stay! The quality of the facilities was surprisingly good!! We were expecting clean and nice, but this felt much more than a one star hotel! If we would have stayed longer, I know that the kitchen would have been a much added bonus. The area is nice and easy to get to from the train station and to tshe center! Will recommend to friends!

This hotel actually is a great choice for whom wants to visit the city without any problem. The stuff is incredibly kind, and the room provided us has a great Florance view. The bathroom is very comfortable, even you can listen music when you are having shower. Lastly the location is extremely close to the main train station and also every main sights have a walking distance to hotel. I strongly reccomend this hotel

My boyfriend and I reserved this hotel at the last minute, and were extremely pleased with our stay here! We were blown away by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. We had reserved a room with a shared bathroom but they upgraded us to a private bathroom for free because it was available. They were very helpful with museum ticket reservations and restaurant recommendations, as well as where to go to get the best deals at the leather market.

The room was a great size and well furnished. Despite having a computer, DVD player etc in the room nothing seemed to work though. There was a lot of noise from other rooms and the corridor which was quite disturbing

One of the best places we stayed while traveling though Europe. We had a room with twin beds, 2 deaks one with a computer and tv that had satellite and we were able to watch movies in English! There was also a small safe in the room, storage for our clothes, and a great little balcony. The staff was very helpful and directed us to a great restaurant and gelato place. Very quite we were able to get a few great nights of sleep. Definetly recomend this place!

We left our initial hotel that was tiny and no wifi for Ester and couldn't have been happier, location is great, right by the train station and to lots of great places. The room was very nice , with a computer in the room that had wifi and a skype phone, bathroom was a decent size and very clean. Would stay there again.

We booked a twin shared room for 6 nights but when we checked in we were given the the larger 'hostel' doom room for just the two of us (6 beds). Located close to train station with supermarkets & laundromat close by. Easy to find but a bit far from the centre although we walked everywhere. Helpful staff, maintenance issues dealt with quickly & we left our luggage there when we checked out. However, the kitchen was under equipped & the fridge needed a clean. For a * hotel it's adequate.

The only problem we had was the shower in our bathroom. It wasn't separate from the toilet or sink which made the bathroom floor really gross after someone showered. Other than that it was a great place to stay.
