The hotel Façade was inspired by Romanesque architecture and its use of columns, detail and space. The color theme is inspired by the desire to achieve the local African, yet modern feel to emanate an inviting atmosphere.
A touch of nature is added with the use of strategically placed beautiful plants and flowers to give a constant breeze of freshness.

Our stay at Etana Motel was probably the best one we could get for the money we paid. The people owning Etana and the staff working were all very keen on making sure you had everything you needed - and quickly too. The location is a few kilometers from the center and a bit less to Makerere University. For this reason we went scanning the hotels/hostels close to Makerere on our third day. But our notion was that no place was better than Etana so we stayed. Thank you Bruna, Diane and staff!!
