Great value for money - the staff were excellent. A little bit of a walk into town but it is not too bad :).

Well I knew about the location and the lack of excitement before I came, so I wasn't too surprised not to meet anyone. Really good room to myself for a good price, but if you're a traveller looking for a hostel not a hotel, this isn't the place to come. However, food served was good (had to pay). On the upside, Besancon is actually a very pretty city, after the 15 min bus journey into town!
