Staff was amazing. Had asados all the time and great atmosphere. 6 person room was fine, was cleaned everyday and bed was clean. Bathroom was clean, but definitely lacking some of the basics....real lighting (couldn´t see anything if it was after 8 p.m.), doors that worked, and only one working sink.

Great place BUT. Poor maintenance, faucet handle and stove handle missing making operation very dificult. Beatiful slab wood picnic tables but tops shift and slant dynamicaly with people using them.

Chilled hostel, clean, with a good kitchen. Nice common area and nice pool in the garden to relax after a day hike. A little bit far away the main street, beds could be better, no laundry service and no breakfast for this price is a shame.

It was a devided experience. Their was a pool, BBQ, bikerental and many other great details. But the owner and others partied untill 3:30 in the night, and didn't respond to complaints. There is only two shared bathrooms for almost 20 beds. The kitchen is so worn down that the shelves is falling apart. And the single computer in the hostel and the internet on it is so slow that it in practice can be used to very little. There was only one BBQ (though good) in the 4 days we're there.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. There is a really nice garden with lots of room to relax in - however the pool was not what it looked like in the pictures and we couldn't swim in it so that was a bit of a disappointment. It's great that they offer tours from the hostel. I did the volcanoe climb with them and thought the guide as really great (he works for the hostel, not a separate tour company) and it was the highlight of my time in Pucon. Hostel was a bit dark inside but managable.

Etnico is a cozy hostel, wonderfuly situated between the town center and the lake. The grounds are spacious with a garden, algae ridden pool, and yard. The staff were excellent. Bring your own soap however, the hostel does not provide it, possibly because they still have not accepted Pastuer's germ theory of disease.

Very smelly hostel, not clean, rooms are dirty, bathrooms are decent. The best thing this host has are the dogs.

The carpet probably could do with clean, only one bathroom for several rooms could be inconvenient at times and only one 2nd the 4 lockers in my dorm worked. Despite these minor things, I really enjoyed my stay in this cosy and friendly hostel. Great common spaces, comfortable beds and lovely staff

Its the second time that I stay in this hostel and I totally recommend it. Its a good place to stay, the staff is very helpful and the place is so nice, with lots of space, a big kitchen and even two dogs to play with.

Etnico Eco truly felt like home... It was raining outside, but inside the fire was roaring and the huge selection of DVDs kept us entertained! Beds were very comfy and the dorms cozy. Lovely garden with patio and pool, huge kitchen, and very helpful staff. Only downside was no breakfast.

The hostel has a really good atmosphere and the staff is very friendly (and they remember your name!) I felt like I was at home. I also liked that we got to use the kitchen and that the hostel is not too big. Overall, a great experience! Would definitely recommend this hostel to other people.

It was very nice that the hostel allowed a large group of us to keep our things at the hostel for the day before our overnight bus back to Santiago. Love the garden, dogs, bright colors, and sleeping loft.
