Etnico Eco Hostel Reviews

I would not recommend this hostel. My bed broke at 3am all the slats fell out and I ended up on the floor. I was in a 6 bed dorm and 3 out of the 6 beds had the same issue. One poor girl on the bottom bunk had a slat fall on her. The place was dark, the carpet is about 35 years old and half the facilities don't work. All of the power points in the room were broken and most of the lights, no breakfast, no lockers and expensive. The facilities are unacceptable.

Wasn't the best hostel. Signs everywhere about being green and no compost. Shower was either burning hot or freezing cold. Burnt myself on the metal tap because it was so hot. Staff were ok. No initial advice on where to go hiking etc. no atmosphere.

Great hostel with great staff, a cheap and good asado, and generally really chilled!

I decided to stay at Etnico because of its very good reviews but unfortunately my experience wasn't what i expected. I was a block away from arriving after driving 4hrs. when I received a phone call from Etnico Hostel telling me that my room was over booked for that night to me so... I didn't have a room anymore, with not even an apology so I had to look somewhere else. The next day I had to go back since i had a room booked. The place is dark ,dirty ,US$80! and the atmosphere......so down!

Pretty place wherat the facilities could have some renovation. The little lack of cleanness was mostly caused by the travellors themselves.
