Euphemia Hotel

The Euphemia offers good, comfortable accommodation with Free Wifi. We have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 10 person rooms, divided on 4 floors (no lift). Most of the rooms have private facilities, the shared rooms have facilities in the corridor.
The Euphemia was formerly a monastery built at the turn of the century. It is in close proximity to all the main tourist attractions within the city center, Heineken Brewery, Leidseplein, nightlife area and the museums. Due to its location on a quiet side street, one is able to escape the hustle of the city.
The hotel is easily accessible from Central station.
In the morning we serve a simple continental buffet breakfast eat and drink as much as you want, from 8.00am to 11am at a price of �.5,- per person. We also have a vending machine for hot and cold drinks and free WiFi.
The lounge is open during reception hours (8am-11pm). Here you can spend your afternoon writing postcards, meeting other travelers, or watching TV.

* Please note! your credit card should have enough credit so we will be able to ask authorization on the given credit card (not a charge), unfortunately we will NOT keep the reservation if we cannot get authorization. You will be contacted by the hotel to ask new credit card details. Authorization means that we ask the credit card company to block an amount on your credit card for our use (normally equally to the cancellation fee).
This amount is normally valid for few weeks, after that it releases itself back into your account automatically (depends on the credit card company and the country).
We have no control over the release process.
* Upon arrival it is possible to pay with debit card, there is a 5% surcharge when paying with all cards plus city tax 5 %
* The reception closes after 23.00. If you have any kind of delay and you are going to arrive after 23.00 you must notify the hotel on the same day by phone to arrange a late arrival.
* All dorms are mixed genders
* Please make sure to print out your confirmation and bring it with you to the hotel on your arrival. .

Cancellation Policy:
* Cancellations are required to be e-mailed to the Euphemia Hotel 24 hours prior to arrival date (NOT ARRIVAL TIME).
Failure to do so will result in a full cost of one night no show fee during week days and two nights in the weekends; this will be charged to the given credit card.
