This is probably the second worst hostel I've stayed in. Be warned that your bill will come to 5% more than what you expect if you pay by card. A 10% charge for using a card? Sigh. (This is besides the 5.5% city tax btw) There were no readily available lockers. Our bags were left on our beds, luckily no theft. They were there, but not available unless there was someone behind the desk. 1st time I've encountered that. For the money we could have got sooo so much more. Oh well, now I know.

This hostel was in a great location! It was steps away from the tram and quite an easy walk to the Van Gogh Museum, the Heineken brewery, De Pijp, and so many other great sites in Amsterdam. The facilities were decent; the five bed ensuite was clean and overall it was a good place to sleep during my weekend in this great city.

Its a ripoff, we only used this place as a last resort. It had bad reviews but I didnt think it would be as bad as it was. A few of the staff are friendly and really helpful, the two younger guys. We had a double room with a bathroom, it cost us between 50-60 euros a night and was not worth that much. They also charge a 5.5 % city tax on top of the price, is that even legal? They also want to charge you about 5 % card fee. There is NO shower pressure.

Staff at the front desk was helpful. I could not safely leave personal belongings in the room. My husband previously stayed for 2 weeks and no cleaning staff cleaned his room for the duration, this time she was came in to clean the bin. For the money spent, I expected better. I could've stayed in a better serviced hotel for the same amount after doing some research. 65 Euro pp per night for a bed was excessive. At that price it is not a budget hotel but facilities certainly is.

I stayed in a private room here and found it very clean and nicely prepared when I checked in. The hostel itself was nice and had a cozy hangout area playing South Park and where you could purchase a coffee for about 2 euro. Security was good, electronic passcard to get in and out of the room. Also the door buzzes loudly if you don't get it closed all the way, so you don't accidentally leave the door open.

The website states that lockers are available for rent but when we arrived we were told our room did not have a locker. We were told to keep our valuables with us or leave them behind the desk which we did not feel was a safe option as the staff were frequently called away from it. This should be made clear on the website. However, the hostel was quiet and clean. The staff appeared a bit frazzled at times but still helpful and friendly. I would stay there again.

The staffs are quite friendly and helpful, the 5-bed-ensuite room that I stayed is quite clean. Quite far from main train station (by walking it takes approx 30 min), there is a tram station nearby (note! on weekends the trams usually starts 0730, so if you got early flight to catch, this may not be an ideal place). however it is very near to Rijkmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Heineken experience.

Nothing special. Should change name to hostel not Hotel. Was keep up for 2 hours by men fighting in the hall and in room at the end of the hall. No employee there to ask for them to take care of the noise.

Very helpful staffs. Narrow stairway and a little steep. Didn't have much time there but I will stay again.

A fine little hostel in a great place! With a short stroll you get to the museum square or to Leidseplein and therefore to the very centre. Also you just have to cross the square and you are staring at the "De Pijp" in the face. There is also a good place to have breakfast just around the corner and it''s quite easy to grab something to eat. The place was very fine and I never had any kind of trouble with the bathrooms or showers whatsoever. :) I would stay there again.

Was good value in relation to other Amsterdam accommodation. Decent budget hotel with decent rooms, but the quality of your stay will be determined by the quietness/noisiness of your neighbours- walls are very thin!

I payed for a 10 people room and they changed it to a 5 people room (en-suite lockable shower-sink-toilet room) since there wasn't a lot of people that night. The staff is friendly and helpful. Easy to get to, but a bit scary to walk there at night. The shower water randomly changes from boiling to freezing, but you get a few seconds of pleasant warmth in between.

A good hostel. Despite they are a lil bit far from the centre, there is a tram station near. And they are really close from Heineken experience! A very quiet hostel as well.

The environment is clean and tidy I was fine the staff are friendly helpful and do everything to make you feel at ease. I also found it good value for money. The only thing is that they have difficulty accepting visa electron and was snapped when the passage of the paper I was told that there was no money ...... luckily it wasn't so in fact I could pick up in the bank.
