Euphemia was a little far from centraal station, but it was easy to get to via tram and still very close to many other parks, plazas, and attractions. Still a great location. The staff was polite; I appreciated the morning reminder for checkout. Marjorie was the kindest, most helpful person I have met during my whole stay in Europe, not just Amsterdam. Thank you Marjorie!

A good value budget hotel. It's a little out of the old city, but close enough to walk and the tram stop is just outside the hotel. Staff were friendly.

The "hotel" itself was better than we were expecting after reading the reviews. The location is fine if you are able to walk, dont listen to the lazy reviewers. The staff were friendly and helpful. The shower and toilet were ok. Its too expensive for what you get but thats amsterdam.

This hostel was in a great location! It was steps away from the tram and quite an easy walk to the Van Gogh Museum, the Heineken brewery, De Pijp, and so many other great sites in Amsterdam. The facilities were decent; the five bed ensuite was clean and overall it was a good place to sleep during my weekend in this great city.

The hostel seemed overpriced for its value. The location was good, but the rooms were cramped. Not much character, good for going out and partying, but not much else.

Its a ripoff, we only used this place as a last resort. It had bad reviews but I didnt think it would be as bad as it was. A few of the staff are friendly and really helpful, the two younger guys. We had a double room with a bathroom, it cost us between 50-60 euros a night and was not worth that much. They also charge a 5.5 % city tax on top of the price, is that even legal? They also want to charge you about 5 % card fee. There is NO shower pressure.

Really disappointed. Too expensive (most expensive one i've ever been to). They came two times in the room without even knocking (it's as if they didn't even care about other reviews). I've been in many hostels and when you ask people to checkout at 10 they do. So there is absolutely no need for the to come at 9:15 to wake you up, again, withouth even knocking. Asked them to stay a few minutes in the common room to skype and they didn't let me. Wouldn't go back.

Staff at the front desk was helpful. I could not safely leave personal belongings in the room. My husband previously stayed for 2 weeks and no cleaning staff cleaned his room for the duration, this time she was came in to clean the bin. For the money spent, I expected better. I could've stayed in a better serviced hotel for the same amount after doing some research. 65 Euro pp per night for a bed was excessive. At that price it is not a budget hotel but facilities certainly is.

I stayed in a private room here and found it very clean and nicely prepared when I checked in. The hostel itself was nice and had a cozy hangout area playing South Park and where you could purchase a coffee for about 2 euro. Security was good, electronic passcard to get in and out of the room. Also the door buzzes loudly if you don't get it closed all the way, so you don't accidentally leave the door open.

Nothing special. Should change name to hostel not Hotel. Was keep up for 2 hours by men fighting in the hall and in room at the end of the hall. No employee there to ask for them to take care of the noise.

The staffs are quite friendly and helpful, the 5-bed-ensuite room that I stayed is quite clean. Quite far from main train station (by walking it takes approx 30 min), there is a tram station nearby (note! on weekends the trams usually starts 0730, so if you got early flight to catch, this may not be an ideal place). however it is very near to Rijkmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Heineken experience.

The website states that lockers are available for rent but when we arrived we were told our room did not have a locker. We were told to keep our valuables with us or leave them behind the desk which we did not feel was a safe option as the staff were frequently called away from it. This should be made clear on the website. However, the hostel was quiet and clean. The staff appeared a bit frazzled at times but still helpful and friendly. I would stay there again.

Very helpful staffs. Narrow stairway and a little steep. Didn't have much time there but I will stay again.

Was good value in relation to other Amsterdam accommodation. Decent budget hotel with decent rooms, but the quality of your stay will be determined by the quietness/noisiness of your neighbours- walls are very thin!
