It was low season when I stayed, so there was only me and one other backpacker - therefore not much of a party/fun atmosphere. The dorm was big, spacious and clean. I'd imagine during the busy times this place would be a good place to party and hang out with others. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and breakfast was tasty. Free wifi and a rooftop terrace (no views over the old mosques, but you can see them when you're out!) where you can chill out. I'd recommend it for sure.

Overall it was a good hostel with a very good location. They did however made a mistake with our booking wich was made long in advance, and me and my brother had to share a bed the last night. But over all they were good and I would suggest.

Apart from location , nothing good. Staff are not really professional.

The true charm of thıs guesthouse ıs defınıtely ıts personnel. They are sweet and helpful. The place ıtself ıs a lıttle worn out wıth too many beds ın some of the smaller rooms to squeeze the most money out of the travellers. I was forced-moved from a relatıvely acceptable room ınto a pretty much unacceptable room to accommodate some other people wıthout any compensatıon, because that uncomfortable room had the same number of beds stuffed ınto ıt than the one I was forced to vacate.

Nice place to stay - unbelievably convenient location near the main sights, though in a quiet and quaint street.Really lovely staff. Room good size, good aircon, though the strip lighting and lack of any warmer light did detract somewhat from our five day stay.

I love the Terrace. It's poetic. Location is excellent. Just 5 mins walk from there to Aya Sophia but quiet enough. You will feel a little bit unsafe while they do not lock the doors nor provide lockers. But it's the honesty value of the islamic people which matters? I have not been stolen anything. The roommates are all very friendly, and easy-going! I like this hostel very much.

Excellent, helpful staff who treated us as friends, and advised us on transport/purchasing items/the bazaars, everything! Breakfast was included and served on the terrace and was great. Basic but clean as can be expected in 12 bd dorm. Only thing really lacking was a common room, but the location is fab so its really not a big deal. Would happily stay there again and thoroughly recommend, thanks.

We stayed in the 12 person dorm and the only issue we had was with the air con. it would be hot if we didn't have it on but it would be too cold if it was turned on. Would have been nice if it was more regulated. But for the price of the dorms, the hostel is excellent. it is in a great location. literally a few mins walk from everything touristy and the staff are very friendly and easy to get along with. the free breakfast is simple but good value.
