The only good points are the geographic situation (very close to the road mile) and the price. And that's all : it's dirty, showers are full of mould (really) and the temperature is not adjustable. A lot of noise, you have to pay if you want to let your luggages for some hours after your leaving, and a fire alarm at 4 of the morning the last night ... Don't go, unless you can't offer anything else.

When I pulled the bed out from against the wall there was a huge amount of dust on the floor. There were old flyers and magazines in the room also covered with huge amounts of dust. Got the impression than other than stripping the bed the room was never cleaned between guests.

The hostel was fine for what it was - somewhere to stay whilst at the Fringe. The kitchen was poorly equipped and it would have been difficult to cook a meal apart from a microwave one. NB for less fit/older people, there are no lifts in this hostel, and top floor was a long way to climb! The room itself and bathroom were clean, and the location excellent.

I stayed for 4 nights, my room was not cleaned over this period and my bin was not emptied, I had to ask for a new towel after 2 days of use. Also the kitchens were not not hygienic and the microwave was not even working. My reason for staying at the hostel was to make use of the kitchen facilities in stead of having the eat out all the time but due to the state of the kitchen this was not possible. The toilets and showers did not appear to be cleaned on a regular basis & had to ask for paper
