Too big, like a sleep factory. Very noisy and pretty dirty.
Large Hostel. Huge Kitchen and Dining area. Not as small and intimate as some hostels so maybe not as easy to meet other travelers. The hostel has a bit of a hotel vibe to it. I think it used to be a hotel before they turned it into a hostel. The staff as far as I can tell dont organise any activities for the guests or anything like that so your pretty much on your own. Good central location and very clean. I would stay again.
Very surprised by this hostel. The pictures don't do it justice. It was quiet and clean. The showers were a bit odd and the sink is across the room but it was nice. The breakfast is pretty good. The bar downstairs is nice because we could not find a pub to save our lives! Would stay there again.
Very cheap hostel in the very central location! good breakfast. The hostel doesn't have much characters but it's fine since we are mostly going to be outside anyway.
I didn't enjoy my stay in this hostel. The rooms have no lockers so, you had to put your valuable stuff in a storage room in the ground floor, which was very impractical, as i was in a ninth floor room. The elevators didn't work properly so i had to use the stairs a couple of times. The key card didn't work properly and the wifi signal didn`t reach my room. I booked a female dorm, but a boy was acommodated in it. It was ok for me, but one of the guest felt really awkward and kicked him out.
It's more like a hotel. The atmosphere was awful. Don't really recommend this hostel if you wanna make friends and etc.
A very cold atmosphere. Lockers provided were not working. Did not enjoy the place.
Thankful the staff gave us a key card to use before we were able to check in. The kitchen should have a free section, so that food found in the fridge that has been left can be used by other patrons. Nicely located. Good breakfast.
Lockers in room cannot be locked - really stressfull. Advice to buy padlock in nearby store and did so - only to discover that it could not be used on the locker. Why not sell padlocks that fits and sell them cheap ?
Had a really good time here, bed was really comfortable, the bar was great inside the place. And it was very central to everything, which I really liked. Good walking distance to everything, including the train and bus stations. Would stay here again.
Mega hostel, lacking charm. Good for large groups. Easy location with all expected amenities.
Really hughe hostel with 9 floors. Nevertheless, it was clean and had everything you need. Breakfast was good: cereal, coffe/tea, toast with different spreads as well a juice. The shower was a bit complicated to figure out, you had to get through the water getting colder and colder until it became warmer, but once you knew it was fine. The guys at reception were very friendly and they have a bar downstaits which offers good food and drink for a very good price.
Good value- it was a relatively clean hostel, everything worked well, and the staff were very helpful.
Wasn't worth much more than I paid for the room. The entire building ha a really strong smell of weeeee, which wasn't too appealing. On a positive note, location was great and the cleaning staff were extremely friendly!
Great location, really handing having parking at a small fee but helpful with directions to get in... Amazing view over Glasgow on the ninth floor, room was nice only annoying bit was the main lifts being out at that time so had to wait for the service lift.. Breakfast was good.. And staff helpful with what to see and do in Glasgow...
Good sized rooms, although one plug is a bit awkward when you've got to crawl over a strangers bed and breathe heavily in their ear while trying to attempt to plug your charger into the wall. Shower is the size of a telephone box and you'll get constantly smashed in the face with water, and it flooded. That was fun. But mainly I can't figure out why on earth there we're heat pumps on in the room all day and night on a top floor room. It felt like hong kong
