The shower was terrifying (the water pressure was too high and the shower too small so it was like being suffocated) but the bar downstairs was a great place to hang out and the location can't be beat!

I thought that it was a good hostel, except that it lacked any kind of personality. More of a dash of colors might have helped, or even better lightning in the halls might have made the experience a little more enjoyable.

A very basic hostel- the room is nothing fancy, and the bathroom is okay. There's a great pub downstairs- I didn't eat there but it looked pretty nice. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and the location is pretty central as there is the main shopping area right nearby, and it's close to a metro stop if you decide to go to other parts of the city! great value for money, but not a lot of character.

Nice place to stay for a short visit to Glasgow, quite basic but confortable and in a very central and convenient location for all the public transport conexions to Scotland by bus and train and to the Glasgow International airport. Excellent value for mone and buffet breakfast included. I would only have complaints about the shower, which wasn't very confortable.

I am a 20 year old student and this hostel is AMAZING. I stayed with three friends so we had a private room for four. We paid ten euro each which was the least amount of money we have paid for a hostel and this was te BEST hostel we stayed at during our four months of travel ! Breakfast was included and was very good. The bar downstairs is a good place to hang out and drink and meet new people of you do not feel like walking into town. The central station for the train is two blocks away.

Everything was perfect in our twin room, except for the shower curtain with fungus. Highly recommended if you're travelling for a few days, it's right next to central station.

A massive place which has the anonymous atmosphere of barracks or maybe a psychiatric ward, with long, empty, sterile corridors and grumpy and disinterested staff. Water in the shower was tepid at best. But the hostel is very clean, cheap and breakfast is included. If you're just looking for a bed for a night, it should be fine. If you're a backpacker looking for a cosy and friendly hostel atmosphere, look elsewhere.

Good hostel! Near the city center, bus station, subway station and The Lighthouse (Mackintosh). It has a Lidl just around the corner, as well as Poundland, Pizza Hut, McDonald's and KFC. It has a big kitchen that guests can use, the rooms are good, breakfast is included and we can leave our luggage there after checking out. There was only one thing we did not like: a member of staff threw away our food that was in the fridge (eventhough we put our name, room and date of leaving on it).

The staff could smile a wee bit more and maybe just pretend to be in a good mood.

The hostel was in a good location, but the room smelled really damp. And the caret was really dirty. The sheets were clean. And the breakfast was good.

Whilst the hostel was in a great location, our room was absolutely filthy (for example, there was snot smeared across the wall next to one of the beds). The smoke alarm would be set off randomly at all times of day and night (we were woken up at 3AM due to this). At one stage we had to be evacuated from the building (no, there was no fire). We stayed on the 7th floor, and the elevator would never come to this floor, regardless of how long we waited (great for those with heavy luggage).

When I got to my room after taking the scariest elevator ride of my life all the lockers were broken and none would lock properly. The maintenance guy was really nice but he banged it a few times with a hammer and it worked. Didn't really leave me feeling to comfortable that my stuff was safe. Breakfast was good and the main bar seems nice but the rest had a feeling of a prison. Will not be staying there again.

Horrible hostel. Lifts don't work properly. Staff is absolutely incredibly rude. Booked a 4 bed dorm and ended up having 5 people in there. Had to go down at midnight to sort it out with absolutely no apology from the staff for it. Room was clean BUT the walls are paper thin. Had a group of very rowdy guys keep us up from 4am. If you paid me, I would not stay here again. Don't even stay if you're desperate.
