It is not exactly a hostel. There is a hotel that has two apartments in the building next to it and use them as dormitories.
There is no free parking as stated in Facilities. Staff shoud told guests what is good to see around or at least give them city map.
Very basic hostel in a good location in Plzen, run as an annex to the Roudna Hotel (sharing reception and breakfast facilities). Expect rather basic facilities like towels-for-rent, very firm matresses, drab furnishings, hot rooms in summer and spotty wifi reception in the hostel area. On the bright side: optional breakfast is very good value! Recommended for an overnight stay in Plzen, but nothing more.
This is a good clean hostel which is close to the center of Plzen. the train station and bus station are a bit of a walk (about 15-20 minutes). There is not a big party atmosphere but the rooms are large and comfortable.
Very kind and helpfull staff. Comfortable and cosy place.
The staff speaks english, is cordial, informational, and patient. There is a key to lock not only your room, but also the main building in which you stay. For any hostel, bring a lock to secure your possessions if you room with strangers (or friends). I am not sure if this hotel provides a lock, but I did have three keys: one for main building, one for room, and one for lock maybe. Ask them :-)
