Eurohostel

Eurohostel is one of the largest hostels in Scandinavia open all year round. The hostel is located in central Helsinki in a unique part of the town close to the Market Square. It is surrounded by Jugendstil buildings and old red brick warehouses. Sights, shops and restaurants of the city centre are all within walking distance and passenger ferrie to Stockholm is only a few steps away. Eurohostel is easy to reach, trams from the centre arrive just next to the hostel.

Our hostel is completely non-smoking. We have dormitory beds, single, twin and triple rooms on 5 floors with a total number of 135 rooms and 255 beds. There are two room categories: budget class Backpackers rooms and modernized Eurohostel rooms. Eurohostel category rooms are renovated and equipped with international TV with movie channels and Internet-on-TV facilities. There is also wireless internet (WLAN) available throughout the entire property for a fee.

Self-service laundry, left luggage room, vending machines, internet kiosks and public phones are situated on the ground floor. Each accommodation floor has its own self-catering facilities with hot plates, microwave oven, lockable refrigerator and TV with cable channels. There are also shared toilets for men and women on every floor with two single-sex saunas on top floor. Bed linen, towel and morning sauna is always included in the price!

The restaurant serves breakfast daily from early hours. The Restaurant Katajanmarja is fully licenced and they serve for instance pizzas and a la carte.

Our reception is always open - 24 hours a day and every day of the year. The skilled reception staff is happy to help customers to make their visit in Helsinki pleasant. It is also possible to get tickets to different kind of tours and tourist attractions in the reception.

Please notice that both of our saunas will be renovated completely. Renovation will start in April and will last for two months. During this period of time the morning sauna is not included in the price and the saunas are not in use.
