shame that almost everywhere in helsinki you can get free wifi but here you had to pay 5€ for a day. and my pillow case had hairs all over...it was quite disgusting....

The room was dirty enough and the staff was not very friendly but the hostel is quite close to the most interesting attractions. Other services (kitchen, shared bathroom and shower) were good and cleaned.

More like a hotel than hostel. Nice rooms and clean bathrooms. Decent kitchen. Location close to the Viking ferry lines. A bit of a walk to the sights but a nice walk.

Breakfast and internet were a bit expensive (although optional, obviously!), other than that, fine...

The tram stop to the city centre was right outside the hostel and was very regualr which was extremely useful. The tram went past a few of the sights in Helsinki. The rooms were comfortable. The staff were very helpful and had information in reception on things to do. A good starting point for a visit to Helsinki.

The staff were very helpful during our stay. One member of staff really helped us by printing out all of our boarding passes and checking us in on our flight.

A basic - maybe a little sterile - hostel but with all good ammenities, clean and well-located close to city centre. Quite noisy at times but overall a decent place to use as a base to explore Helsinki.

We were reasonably happy with this hostel. The kitchen facilities were ok (but no oven!) and the room was comfy and clean. Biggest problem was the shower - the door was a poor excuse for frosted glass with a 1 inch gap down the middle!!! NOT COOL!!! Otherwise it was fine.

Well it was not great but it was totally worth the money I paid. In addition to that the staff were extremely helpful to me.

A big hostel and fairly much what I expected. A good value well run place to stay, but in common with most hostels of this type, not so good for meeting people if you’re travelling alone. Not a problem for me as I was just doing an out of season reccy to Helsinki and Tallinn. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if I find myself in Helsinki. For those that want to do the crossing to Tallinn, I recommend a day trip on the Linda Line ferry “out of season” to make full use of available light.

very clean and quiet. good kitchen and nice rooms but no social opportunities. only chance to meet other people is in the kitchen but as there is a kitchen on every floor there is no chance to meet people on other floors.

This hostel felt kind of like a jail... we booked a dorm but got upgraded to a private room. The hostel felt very empty. Our room was huge but only had 3 beds in it. Each floor is a kitchen which is good and bad i guess - it's close but you only get to meet the people who are staying on your floor. There is a bar and restaurant downstairs but most nights it looked empty. You have to pay to lock your food in the fridge too.
