Odd hostel in the spare room of someone's flat. No lockers and kitchen tiny, a bit run down but comfortable enough, not a place to spend time hanging out though. The directions provided by the hostel were unhelpful, make sure you have a map. Having said all that you cant complain for the price paid, amazing value.

Booked a 5 bed dorm, ensuite. Arrived to find there were 7 beds and the bathroom was out in the hall. The dorm was so cramped, there was no where to put our stuff and we were crawling over each other to move around. The doorbell kept ringing during the night and waking us up. The cramped shower room had other people's stuff all over and the toilet was in a separate room. The staff was fine but not very friendly. I felt so uncomfortable here. Also location was not very good. Worst hostel EVER.

E-A hostel is in an Apartment. Imagine you are visiting a russian friend at home and you will feel well. Free tea and coffee, fully eqipped kitchen . Nice and helpful Hosts. 400 m from new Metro Station, near town Center, a good place to stay.

It's a flat, which is fine as most hostels are in Russia but its a very dirty untidy flat. The owner is never there and it is left to a young man who seems more interested in mucking about than helping in anyway. Dog and dog food smell covers the place, dog food seems to have been left out for quite some time. The walk into town is 40 mins but is at least a very straight line. Ekaterinburg is a nice enough place but limited budget hostel options mean you may end up staying here. Just be prepared

The Finn was pretty dead on. The place is basically just an extra room in an apartment. There is an oversized dog, so be aware if you are allergic or generally opposed. Location is fine, not near much itself, but close to main streets and buses, and a short walk to the metro. The staff were amongst the nicest I've dealt with. Very helpful and friendly. The owner said he wants to relocate, which, if he does, may boost some of the amenities and such.
