If you ever wondered what an apartment in those concrete towers looks like or had thought about putting bunks in your livingroom and calling yourself a hostel, well this is the place. We arrived 10.15am, waited outside till 11am - I think everyone inside was asleep. Hostel is a long way from town so I wouldn't recommend it if you have an early train. The staff member was helpful and ordered us a taxi for early the following morning, although it turned out to be a very expensive 'private hire'.

This hostel is OK. The hosts really were not bad, pretty nice guys. The place was clean. The beds were nice, although the dormitory was cramped. Standard Russian-style hostel. Yekaterinburg is waiting for its first Western-style hostel still...

The kitchen was not usable. The rest of the Hostel was ok. The staff were friendly and helpfull, but the hostel is quite difficult to find.

Firstly, hard to get response to door bell. Staff not rude, but not very friendly- this is your room, gave me a map and that was it- no mention of where toilet shower were, if tea and coffee were available., or if I could use the kitchen.Breakfast was extra, which I requested for 8 am. He said that would be OK. Next morning he completely forgot. After waiting, I eventually went out. When I returned I asked him what happened to breakfast. He had forgotten, but didn't apologise. There is and there
