Just a little criticism is that we hear everything outside the room. The street and just the doors closing are making noise wich is totally normal but the isolation is not enough strong. That is all otherwise it was perfect !

On a side street it's quieter than the main street but still close to everything. The building has character and the staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived sleep deprived and all over the place yet they showed great patience and kept smiling as I muddled through the check-in process. I was able to go straight to my room and they were very helpful when I required information. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice and clean. Friendly staff (except one of them). Quiet place and comperd too the location of the other hosels in this area this place are the best. Kings cross is not a nice area, full off filty people, drugs and hockers.

I really enjoyed my stay at evas: my room had a good size (eventought it was very hot in there without clima), free tv and some dvd, free wifi and a roof top with beautiful view. I would recommend Evas for 100% :)

Great location - close to everything in Kings Cross, but not too noisy. nice kitchen, bathrooms looked brand new. Only downside... wanted a private double room, and didnt mind paying extra, but found $85 a night a bit excessive for a room with no a/c or ensuit. Apart from that, was great! Definatly stay again.

Thought this was a great place to stay! In the middle of everything, but still that little bit away from the hustle and bustle of Kings Cross, found everything neat and tidy and very clean. Great value for money!

This is THE best hostel in Sydney, no doubts. We stayed in a 10 bed dorm and it was very clean and nice. The bathrooms are just like in hotels, you get free tea and coffee and the location is perfect. Would not stay anywhere else in Sydney.

Good hostel, nice rooms and bathrooms but the kitchen in a bit on the small side and the tv room was just in a cubby hole in a hall way.

I think this is a very good hostel to meet other travellers. The facilities are good and the staff is friendly in general, although they are not so keen on giving out the free towels. I saw one dead cockroach in the bathroom which i find kind of disgusting. However the hostel was really clean so I was kind of suprised to find one. The rooftop has a very nice view on the city and they even organized a free BBQ one night! All in all i would definetely reccommend this hostel.

All good on my second stay here. Oh, and as someone else mentioned, avoid the white goo in the showers, it looks like soap but smells strange. The pink goo next to the sink is alright though.

I stayed in a double bed room with my girlfriend. There is no lift in the hostel. I had to carry all my luggage to the second floor on my back. Besides that, bathrooms in the second floor were very good (4 individual bathrooms with shower, toilet and sink each). They were always clean. The bedroom was clean but had a little smell because of the carpet. Location is good (Kings Cross)

Have stayed here a few times now, great hostel with really helpfull staff, clean but basic rooms, good value for money. not in the best area as near kings cross but at least its not on the main street, noisy in the street outside on a friday night but that can't be blamed on the hostel, great value for money and freindly hostel , i would definatly stay here again.

A great place to stay after a little hiccup on arrival. When I arrived, there was no locker for me since the last one available in the room was broken. I was offered to leave with a refund (ridiculous proposal at 7PM) or to keep my stuff at reception (this I did). I was told the broken locker would be fixed the next day but it stayed broken for my whole stay. I had to jump into the locker of a departing guest to keep my stuff safe. Other than that, very clean, free wifi, great atmosphere. Good.
