please stay there ONLY if you are really budgeting 8 for facilities, is quite old for everything for me, the bed and blanket are horribly old and dirty, you have to make the bed and linen cover by your own we are 3 people live in a 8 people mix dorm, it is really unlucky that our private shared bathroom is locked as there is painting (?) for the bath room but not yet dry the common room bathroom is on average but insufficient hot water.....sightly warm the great things is the breakfas

They put a new heater in the shower on the second day of my stay there, so from that day on everything was O.K.

It was a great hostel, lots of character, everyone was very friendly and it had a nice environment. It is begining to look a little dated, but we didn't let it take anything away from what was a great stay.

Good breakfast, the light of the bathroom was not working. A bit far to get to the city center.

Heater was broken and it was very cold. There wasn't hot water in the shower, but faucet was working. I loved that breakfast and internet was included into price.

Our room was in the basement, right under the hostel's common room. It was very big, but dirty and because of the common room above us it was very noisy. I found it quite unacceptable. We didn't feel comfortable at all, although we often sleep in hostels and are experienced on that score. We left the hostel after one night because we rather wanted to pay for another hostel than stay one more night in the Everton. The staff showed a lack of understanding for this matter.

This hostel was very dirty, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned and there were cigarette butts on the floor of the bedroom. The matrresses were ripped and stained and the top bunks were sagging down almost dangerously (They were on the verge on breaking and someone would fall through). The staff said what they had to but were not very friendly. The breakfast was free which is good but there wasn't enough for everyone. I would not stay here again.

That 's the best hostel I have ever stayed in Europe!! Please keep your staff, since they are very helpful and friendly. I asked so many things to them and they patiently listened me and tried their best to sort out my problems, it was excellent! But I think check in time might be a bit earlier... anyway if I come to Liverpool again it is for sure I will stay in Everton Road Hostel!

Great bathrooms, ensuites in every dorm (I believe). Our dorm also had a fridge/sink in there, great for storing our food close to us. Kitchen downstairs is really only a kettle and a microwave, a little disappointing - don't expect much from it. Location was pretty poor, 10-15 minute walk to anything really. The city was at least 25 minutes walk. Cheap private hire cabs though (3 pound to the city). Really good character, beatles and music murals everywhere!

The only thing that I disliked was the charge of £5 for arriving after 10pm. Two things about it: it is the first time I see a hostel charging for arriving before midnight; and secondly the website is unclear about the charge, at some point is suggests there will not be charge if we advise the arrival time (which I did), but despite having done so I was charged 5 extra when checking in. If you keep on charging this just be clear as the conf. email didn't mentione the extra 5 in the balance

I stayed in this hostel for so many times, you get a great service for the money you pay. Staff is great, specially this spanish girl called Concha, she was so nice and helped me as much as she could. The bed was confortable and the room was clean. Really good atmosphere I would would back.

The main down fall was that the shower and toilet facilities in our room were dirty. The shower didn't not work, had tiles off the wall and smelt bad. As we were shown our room there was a person still leaving it so I don't even think it had been cleaned. The next closet shower was upstairs and in the communal room. There was no hot water.

The best thing about this hostel is the price. I consider myself an easy-going person, but even for me there were lots of things lacking, things that are not difficult to improve: the facilities are not bad, but were messy and needed repairs. The kitchen in the 10 bed bedroom would be great if it was better taken care of. I see no point in having an old stove when a small microwave would be better. The bathroom was dismantled. There is no reception, and I am sorry for the people who work there.

This is not a comfortable, long stay kinda place. It was perfect for me for one night passing through as it is 24 hour, extremely cheap and had free street parking but if you have medium-high standards I'd probably stay elsewhere. It was warm and provided a half-arsed breaky but the bathrooms were terrible. Shower was a cold single trickle.

The other customers staying at the hostel had no intention of sleeping and showed no consideration for anyone else who did. The hostel was extremely rowdy from 1am til 7am almost continuously! I think the 2 young women running it are extremely vulnerable if any of the drunk young men staying there decided to kick off. They have no authority with such clientele and are shown no respect as the people in charge. The facilities were fine and the 2 women mentioned were pleasant and helpful.

For £10 the hostel did the job as It was so where to sleep but that was about it really. There was a party going on around the Hostel for most of the night while I was there. Its warm, dry and there was a bed for me.

This is a really great hostel, our room has its own kitchen, washing machine, bathroom, sofa and table, it was like an appartment! The breakfast is really complete, the manager book for us a taxi cab with credit card because we didnt have cash, a really good hostel, we just stay 1 night, we would like to stay longer!
