Arrived and was told had no booking, was then placed in a 6 bed dorm after booking 4 bed - price was reviewed and i only paid for 6 bed dorm. Staff unhelpful and rude at times, owner was very nice and worked out all problems with me. Nothing to do at the hostel other than communal kitchen which wasnt to big. Place is very clean, great to see, best showers in South America for sure! needs a filter on the heads tho, it hurts alot coming out as a stream, and 2 minutes of hot water isnt enough
Clean, quiet hostel that I usually use in Bogota. Definitely not a party place, so more suited to business or mature travellers. Kitchen is small and very basic. No bar, but you can buy beers. No TV. Quiet during the day, and normally at night too. In Candelaria in a convenient location. Not sure why people complain about the cold or safety Bogota gets cold at night, and heating is not usual. Do your research. Never had a problem with safety. Use common sense, don't be a scared Yank.
