The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere/vibe was just what I was hoping for -- relaxed and with other travelers who were considerate of others.I loved the decorations/style of the entire place! . I would stay here again.

I had no problems with the hostel until the day I was checking out. After going for a shower and leaving my jeans on the bed I came back and they were 50USD lighter, which blew my tight budget out, and I got the standard shrug of the shoulders from the staff. On top of this as there's no breakfast provided so I bought granola and yogurt, but when I went in the kitchen in the morning a member of staff has just finished eating my yogurt. Not an ideal start to the day.

Loved it until we had a sleepless night due to bedbugs in dorm 4! This was a week ago so hopefully sorted by now - we were moved straight away though and gave us a free night in a different room. Great hostel except for that! it was otherwise very clean, so much character, and the staff so friendly - they said they would get on the case re bedbugs asap. So try not to let this put you off but we felt we had to mention this just incase the problem hasnt been fixed.

If you are looking for a cheap alternative, this is your place to stay. But it is dirty both in the kitchen and bathroom, the beds are pretty uncortable with sand in them and there is music until 3 in the morning although nobody is there to listen.

Blocked toilet for entire stay. No real effort to fix problem despite regular complaints. Mains water often off. We paid for a superior double room with ensuite - had to go down 3 floors to use the already overused toilet - generally unclean due to high use. The room 3 floors up a spiral staircase is a fire trap-no way of escape. Fan and light are below head height. Single sheet on double bed. Inroom fridge could not be plugged in. Cooking utensils lacking. Our worst experience in any hostel.

The staff was unfriendly, they did not welcome us with a good client service. Once you get to the place you notice that the hostel was really good maybe 3 years ago, but it´s been neglected. When I booked it I said I was arriving at 9:00 am and I was aware that the check-in was at 1:30 pm. However, when we arrived there at the check-in time, they made us wait more than an hour alleging that they were cleaning the room, when the check-out for the other occupants was at 10:30. Very dirty toilets

It's a great hostel if you are planning to stay with friends (like me), the bar and patio areas are really nice and it is very close to the beach and city center. My biggest complaint is about bathrooms: they have just 4 bathrooms for all the guest that are not staying in a suite room, which is bad, really bad. The cleaning was not a good point, but for me the most important issue was that you couldn't use the toilet if somebody was taking a shower (not separated rooms).

This hostel was an absolute joke! We booked a twin room through hostelbookers but when we arrived they new nothing about our reservation. Once we paid $130 for the two nights, they then took us to our room which would have been more at home in a Thai prison. It wasnt a twin room at all but in actual fact a scummy old dorm with 3 bunk beds in it which they said we could have to ourself. The room was right next to the bar with music so loud I might as well have slept with my head next to 1000w sub

There were no lockers in dorms and you weren't allowed to buy your own alcohol and drink it there. also the bathrooms were not great - not many for the amount of people and the water left rust stains on our towels! staff were friendly though and hostel was fun and good atmosphere.

I wouldn't recommend. The first terrible thing: the WATER smells like RUST!!! (either in the shower or in the tap) Horrible. The rooms are very small and DON'T HAVE LOCKERS. If u want to lock your things, u need to go outside, in a common area, to have your locker. The hostel is very noising the hole day. If you want to have fun, ok. But if you want to sleep anytime, I strongly recommend u to buy ears protector. You can't cook after 11pm, and the foods and drinks there are very expensive. Som

This is the worst ever hostel I ever stayed, in years of travel!! They reserved my bed but failed to mention that it was the location of the huge music speakers and a wild party, for the entire night....no possibility of sleeping and no help from the inept staff. Never had such terrible service, not to mention the other problems.

It was the worst hostel I've ever been!! Dirty bathroom, water smells like rust and it is freezing. Paid for a 6 fem bedroom. In the 1 night, woke up and we were in 9. In the 2night the final blow was when they started the open bar party and we discover that our bedroom was the stage of the party. In the balcony of our room they put two huge speakers and the DJ's mixer. People entering and dancing in our bedroom (outside people too) couldn't sleep until 8AM. And they made us checkout at 11 AM.

It was a nice hostel, close to the beach. The only thing that was stupid was that it was no key to the room and no loockers to loock inn passport and valuaebel stuff. The internettconnection the hostel said they had was almoust notexisting. It was inpossible to book a new hostell in the next townn we where traviling too.

Really good hostel with plenty of places to hang out in, either in the lounge our outside by the pool/bar or on the football field etc. Good location near to bus terminal, beach and shops. However, girls dorm was really loud at night and there were lot of mosquitos in the room.

Hostel looks as nice in real life, as it does on the pictures. Clean, staff very knowledgable, good dinners and drinks (for little money). Would definitely recommend!
