first we thought there must be a catch since the price was so low, but it turned out to be a calm, clean & comfortable place to stay in. staff was helpful, but sort of let you be which was perfect for our nordic personalities. the only complaint is that there was no kitchen or any place where to sit down and make a sandwich. there is the bar downstairs, but you know.. seems like the place is for sleeping only, which also makes the place quiet and peaceful. anyway, totally the money's worth!

The best hostel I have stayed in by far. The communal area is a pub which is bright and clean. I found the staff to be very helpful, especially after arriving at 9am after travelling through the night by motorcycle to get there! Bathroom/shower etc were very clean, beds well kept and clean. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this place to all travellers. There is a very cheap place right over the road that serves english breakfast for around 4 - 5 pound.
Great place to stay, extremely cheap for London, nice clean rooms and friendly staff. We were on the second floor and didn't get distracted by the sound of the pub below. It was a perfect place to rest before my London to Brighton bike ride the next day. A nice add on would be a lounge room and a kitchen but I guess that would put the price up, so I'd prefer it the way it is in that case.
Was good, only downside i can think is there is no kitchin....
Location pretty far out of London, and a 15 min walk to the nearest tube/train station. Simple breakfast provided, and on top of a bar so they offered 50% off one drink there. Beds are 3 bunks high, but are fine to sleep in.
Just stayed for 2 nights but overall had a good experience. The staff was very helpful, giving us tips about the main touristic points and guidance on public transportation. The bar downstairs was very good and cheap compared to the pubs downtown. The location is not quite good but there's a bus stop right in front of the hostel and you can get to the city center in about 15 minutes. I just missed a kitchen and a PC available to use, but I didn't check if there were any before booking anyway.
No kitchen, it is really just a local pub with beds. No hostel vibe, but it is clean and decent mattresses, very packed into the rooms with 3 high.

Great value for money place, breakfast was ok. didn´t really get to interact and meet others except if they were in your room as there was only a bar really. this had a lot of local older people come into it too.
Although I'm not sure about the overall safety of the 3 tier bunk beds I can't fault anything else about this place. Sleeping above a pub. Free wifi. Bus stop right next door. £2.40 one way in to Trafalgar Square.
This hostel is nice, I particularly like the ones attached to pubs. Clean, safe, breakfast is ok and you can take a bus to the center nearby or you can walk a little bit to take the tube (It's not so much considering that you are in London). Most positive: The staff, everybody was very helpful and talkative, we specially Aldo, with whom I and my friend had good conversations and he also helped us to find some beers around after the bar was closed. Negative: just not having a kitchen.
A Great place to stay, but only let down alittle far from central london.
No faults, would stay there again and again
The staff make this place! I wish I remembered their names but the dude with long hair and heavy accent was THE BEST! It's so far from the city center that help with directions is super necessary and he was amazing. Great breakfast, hoppin bar at night with great locals and cool kids out on the patio talking music, why we love "insert city here," playing guitar and drinking till the wee hours. The dorms are quiet, nice bathrooms, 20c hair drier for 5 min. Only complaint the room was really cold
Had a great time here. Met really nice people and was very cheap. A close train ride away from victoria station and many other places. Would recommend this place to others if youre not partiers.

Overall a good hostel. Location was a bit out of the way, but bus & train close by. Would recommend this hostel.
It's ok is you are visiting for a second, not so much if you are planning longer stay. If you wish to experience some real london, choose sth closer to the centre.
For this price I was very impressed with the hostel. I found the entire place exceptionally clean and all the staff friendly. Security is good, as long as you don't forget your two key codes! Interesting pub frequented by all day drinkers. Kitchen facilities, a common area for surfers to meet and chat, breakfast available after the current 7-9am only slot would all be nice but that's me being picky. Hidden treasure; Big Ben and The London Eye can be seen out the rear windows on a clear day!
