Staff was friendly at the bar/check in area. They allow you to keep your bag in their luggage storage downstairs that you need a code for. Kind of made me nervous because your bag just sits on a shelf with other bags. Showers were nice. I got wifi in my room which was great! It was on the first floor so that may be why! 10-15 minute walk from Victoria Coach and Victoria tube station, and Buckingham Palace but not near much on that street otherwise

The White Ferry is well located if you want to be close to town, yet just far enough away to chill out at night. Great staff made us feel very welcome, and also the free breakfast provided each day saved us a lot of hassle. Not too badly priced either would definitely stay there again.

This hostel is great for a short journey I found. The 21 bedrooms are big, so even if there's a lot of people it doesn't seem like it. Don't forget to bring earplugs and something to cover your eyes! Breakfast is good, and nice that its serve right down in the bar. The facilities where always clean and there's code to go into the Hostel part and one code to the every room so its safe.

Being above a bar, the place does not have much character- it is essentially a couple rooms with steel-frame beds shoved in them. However, this place is great where it counts: security is top-notch (key-card system with lockers in the rooms), and the value beats out any other hostel in London (one night's stay earns a bed, a locker, breakfast, and half-off a drink at the bar). I had no qualms with this hostel.

Despite the fact that I arrived very late, I was still given a very warm and helpful welcome by the man at reception (can't remember his name, but he had long hair). Such a nice, clean, quiet place to stay, and very reasonably priced for central London! I stayed in a 9-bed mixed dorm and there were no problems, no noise. Facilities were good with lockers and combination locks on all doors for added security. I really felt incredibly safe. Would definitely recommend this hostel!

Might've just been bad timing but staff weren't overly friendly. Would be great to go as a group but not the best place to meet people travelling by yourself. Pub has really nice atmosphere

I ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT.ITS A HOSTEL ABOVE A VERY OLD PUB WHICH HAS SEEN BETTER DAYS.I SLEPT IN A THREE BUNK BED,SO FOR TALL PEOPLE A BIT DIFFICULT.THE ADVANTAGE ITS CENTRE OF LONDON,NEAR VICTORIA TRAIN AND COACH STATION.BREAKFAST BASIC BUT STILL GOOD TO HAVE SOMETHING TO EAT BEFORE TRAVELLING ON.

You need to punch in a 6-digit code to get up into the hostel area of the building, and then another 6-digit code to get into your room. Really annoying. Wifi only works in the lobby/bar area. Only 2 outlets in a 15-bed room, and only one of those outlets worked. Other than the bar in the building itself, really no bars/restaurants within a short walking distance of the hostel.

Great location, very clean. Good accommodation for a cheap price. Wifi was a bit sketchy, but overall, it was a great place to stay.

Central location (5 min. by walk from Victroria coach station). VERY clean. Free Wi-Fi (good signal). But on Reception impossible to rent an adaptor (UK to European charge). You can purchase only!

Found it to be a very well located hostel however, the morning after the first night a guy on the bunk below me complained of being bitten by what he thought were fleas. After my second night, i had a few bites on me as well! Take a Padlock for the mini (Valuable) lockers. Main bags are stored in the basement on shelves however, there is a key coded lock on this door!! Cant mock the price though!!
