Good choice if you are arrive late/departure early at the Victoria Coach Station. Locker for every one inside the room. (Didn't checked the power plug, because I arrived there late.) Free Wi-Fi at the lobby. Bit lack of shower booth, but other things were fine.

good hostel, but the bathrooms are not so clean.

From the outside the hostel looked amazingly beautiful. But: too few toilets and showers upstairs and lady's toilet downstairs didn't flush and was very dirty. Sanitary cleanliness overall was disappointing. Some of the staff tried hard but didn't speak English too well. Breakfast was good, given that you came before 7:45.

There is one great advantage this hostel has over all others: it is right above the pub. And as we know, a pub is a great place for travelers to socialize, talk, exchange information and generally have fun. The staff was great, location excellent, beer cold and price attractive (for London). Rooms were quite full of people, coming and going. So if you prefer sleep over socializing, it might get difficult. But for one night for a social person - it might be perfect choice.

We stayed in the 9 bed dorm and it didn't have any space for luggage. Stepping on everyone's toes all the time. It was a good enough hostel for one night to catch a train from Victoria the next day, but I wouldn't stay more than that in the 9 bed dorm.

I agree with the last person. The cleanliness was pretty bad. The bathrooms were rarely cleaned, and when they were, it was very minimal. The showers are not great either. Security lockers were broken and the roof was leaking water all through to beds which had to be changed (obviously this is an old bulding and was not the hostels fault, that's understandable) the staff are very friendly and common pub is banging! An old hostel with basics only, but I have since rebooked!location is good enough

Nice place, great location next to the Victoria train station (5 min. walking) , Buckingham palace ++ . The stuff was nice and helpfull. Great value for money considering that it's London and is in a central place plus the breakfast...I recommend it for young backpackers or those on vacation..

I had an overall good experience staying at The White Ferry. The staff was nice and I also had a good time with the other travelers staying there. I think the best thing about the hostel is the value for money. Very cheap, nice location and breakfast on top of it :)

This hostel was horrible. The facilities were not clean, the rooms were cramped, and it was NOT secure. The doors to the rooms were open during the day and my friend got her camera and iPod stolen from a LOCKED locker. Turns out their lockers are actually broken and can be reopened even once you've locked it with your own lock. DO NOT store anything valuable here if you choose to stay. The location is NOT centralized, about a 15 minute walk from a distant bus/metro station.

I had my camera and my iPod stolen from my locker during the day because the staff failed to inform the guests that some of the lockers were broken. The manager refunded half of my payment, but he said that the hostel wouldn't pay for stolen items. I had to file a claim through my own insurance. It's totally unacceptable for a hostel to have broken lockers in their rooms WITHOUT INFORMING THE GUESTS. I wouldn't stay here again, nor would I recommend to my friends.

The hostel has an excellent location, the only problem is that the kitchen only have a microwave, you can not really cook, and it closes at 8pm strictly, also you can not bring your own drinks, as the hostel has it owns bar at the main floor, you will have to buy everything there.

Smelled really bad and staff was not helpful and she short-changed me. I was too tired to argue over 90p. But still 90p is 90p. Good location, though. Just a short wlk to Victoria Coach Station. Good rates and a decent breakfast. Otherwise, not my best choice in London.

Excellent location and fantastic value. Only drawbacks were the fact that there was only one working shower on a couple of days and the small common room- no alcohol could be brought in either due to the hostel also being a pub! Have to say, once I actually got into the shower it was one of the best I've had anywhere!

I strongly discourage anyone from choosing this hostel. I chose it mostly for the location (near Victoria) and the WiFi. People over 60 hang out in the pub pub downstairs. Showers have a sort of mat of hairs and filth. All customers have the code to access the luggage storage. There aren't any sockets and small lights in the dormitories. Last but not least, someone tried to rob me during the night, as many people forget to lock the door and anyone can get in. NEVER AGAIN

Clean nice place with no bed bugs! Though no common room, or outside place, which is a minus. Room is located on the third floor, and stairs are steep. Staff is super-friendly! Subway is some distance away, but sort of close to Victoria Coach station.
