Was pleasantly surprised - this was my second stay at a BestPlace Inn location, but it was 1/2 the price and twice as roomy plus way more central than The Steam Engine. Bathrooms could have been cleaner, but were ok. Beds were awesome; fluffiest duvets ever. Easy walk from Victoria. 1/2 price drink coupon at check-in was lovely. Only complaint: so many stairs, even to luggage room. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is okay ... We choosed it because it said tht it was close.. But not really. There is only a bar, no meeting room.. So, it's'not at this hostel that you will meet people ... The breakfest is too early in the morning .. Until nine o clock only .. Yeah it s'not not the best hostel ever .. And the bed are unconfortable .. So yeah the only good thing I found it is the security in the hostel .. It is very good ..

It was a very good hostel, but I do think the showers could be changed. It is a bit annoying that you have to wait a few minutes before the water turns hot. Other than that I enjoyed my stay at the White Ferry, Bestplace Inn. The crew was extremely friendly and helpfull.

Nice australian guy at the bar/reception. Have stayed here twice, second visit was best. Although I was n the 15 room bunk, it was very empty(presumably because the roof was leaking but didn't affect me because we were in thebeds far away) It's actually cheaper if you book from their website ;)

Hostel was very crowded, everything felt cramped, no real common spaces to casually hang out in

This is a decent place. I've stayed here twice and had no problems. I appreciate the bar, pizza and live music. Security is a bit dodgy as a girl had all of her money stolen from one of the lockers when I was there. In terms of accommodation in the heart of London, it's just about the cheapest you can find. Nice old building. Clean linens. Wi fi is a bit spotty in the dormitories. Kitchen closes at a certain time so that's a bit inconvenient. Location is very convenient (Victoria Station).

Too few sockets in the room (we had room number 1). Please do something about it! :)

Room was freezing. The roof is soaking, when it is raining, it is a shame, water is flowing to the beds. Kitchen closes too early and very poor facilities. Showers would need a refurbishment. Otherwise great location and great staff , nice breakfast and very clean. Nice, helpful staff, secure place.

The stay was great, the hostel has a kitchen to use for guests which is a great feature. The bathrooms lacked cleanliness and a lot of lights weren't working. My bed was broken, so wasn't sure how safe it was to sleep on it. Other than that great hostel, thanks.

The staff was fantastic and they have really good pizza if you're starving and want a nice, simple dinner. Also they are really cool about you leaving at any time of night, which was convenient for me. Definitely staying here again!

The hostel was in a very good position for visiting the city. There are enough toilets and showers and they are pretty clean. The 24-hour bar was really nice and so were the people. The only bad thing I could find was that the rooms, halls and toilets were really cold. Very good place to spend a few (cheap) nights.

About 10 min walk to Victoria Station... Very secure. I was allowed to leave my luggage in storage before check-in and after check-out. Breakfast was included. Not mind blowing but in accordance to the price paid. The time window to have breakfast was short but sufficient. Some of the staff could have been a bit friendlier. Overall good stay.
