English speaking skills at the front desk were very poor.

The room, as described, mentioned shared bathroom, which gave me some second thoughts about staying there. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the room for my fiancee and myself had a private bathroom. It was clean and neat, very nice looking lobby, elevators, halls and room. One downside that I found, was lack of a window. Staying on the 7th floor, it would have been nice to see Beijing, or at least daylight. Other than that, it was a very nice hotel. I would definitely stay again
